The art in this special is okay. It's not my cup of tea, but I can see why people dig it.

It's very Western, but I still respect artists who do their own style than the 90% of fancomics that trace Toriyama.

It's kind of disrespectful, you know? Especially as they get defensive and deny it, they know they're basically stealing.

It kinda reminds me of old pulp story artworks, especially with their heads.

They're just tracing lesser-known things

English page doesnt work properly
1. Where’re we going?
2. To the SG Sector… Freeza’s army has always been pushed back. We’ll be at relative peace.
3. After abandoning their capsules, the Saiyans changed transportation several times to remain as discreet as possible…
4. Then Kakarotto told his story.
5. They can’t exist, your Dragon Balls!
6. And yet you see their effect!
7. Let’s go to Earth to find them!

Now I'm more curious what hapened on Earth? Maybe Kakarotto snagged wish, when Piccolo Daimao was going to restore his youth?

Seeing Kakarotto and King Piccolo fight for the Dragonballs would actually be an interesting story.

Saiyans as the Galaxy's inbred morons is nice.
My opinions suck. You should probably mute me to spare yourself having to see them.

They first met after one of his Full Moon rampages, and he wasn't carrying the ball. Either Bulma got it from him during her first search, or someone got it from Kame House after he died.

As for Mt. Frypan, very good question. Maybe it rained.

First panel remind me of Freeza, when he fought with Goku without using hands :)

Overall, i like how Raditz is portrayed in this fanmanga, I'm actually root for him to become stronger than Vegeta thanks to Old Kaioshin, and kill him, so he and Kakarotto can be free :)

Yeah, Raditz is a Chekov's Gun waiting to go off, should be interesting to see how things go with him when Vegetto loses it. It looks like Old Kai has refined his technique to make it more effective.

Came back after about a month and lord behold, we're still on Majin Bra and stuck in yet another Special. Seriously, why is this plot point being dragged too much? This is beyond 'are they still on Namek?'. Not helping that Bra's fight has been pretty boring since it keep repeating the same repetitive 'heroes get the advantage, Bra pulls something to undercut the heroes, cue Special, repeat.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

I just knew someone would respond with this.

Reread what I said. "needlessly GORY." Compare that manga panel to the MV page and tell me the difference.
It's funny how people keep using examples like Drum, Gurdo, Cell Juniors in attempt to defend the unnecessary gore that is presented on Multiverse.

For realsies: apart from Goku getting a hole on his chest, Tenshinhan having his arm cut by Nappa and that human that had his neck crushed by #20, it's clear that Toriyama is much more confortable in drawing gory stuff with alien types characters.

I can't imagine that he would drawn any of the human like characters to be cut in half or to beheaded, that's just not his style. I bet he would prefer to have Bra to impale Gohan instead of slicing him in half.

Criticisms aside, I sometimes appreciate the world build in Multiverse: these planets and environments, their clothes looks much better than the generic sh*t we usually get in the series.
