The level 2 Tournaments have a lower rate of giving you a dragonball than level 3. You must beat the tournament and runer-up does not count. Remember even if you win a level 3 Tournament dosen't mean your guaranteed a dragonball just a better chance of getting one.
Note* This does not apply to the part of the tournanment where you can fight your friends.

It is possible to get a dragonball as a runner-up. I've had it happen before and was quite surprised.

On BT3, is there an option to change the audio to Japanese and get Japanese names too?

It only affects the spoken dialog in menus and during fights. It doesn't change anything else about the games.

That is pure awesome. Makes me sad that they changed the music up.

That clip made me hate the replacement music even more, I had it on for less than a day (and I got the game within a few days of it's release date) and it hasn't been back on since.

Anyway, do you get anything for completing all of the Ultimate Battles?, I'm three quarters of the way through and am wondering if it's worth continuing.

It's been forever since I've played the game, let alone completed Ultimate Battle but I do think you get a item (or unlock a potara to buy) for completed the 100 Missions. I don't think you get anything from the Survival Missions cause i remember getting angry when I completed them and got nothing.

Completing all of these with a Z ranking helped me to buy my last few Potaras.

I have a question. Ya know when a character like for example SSj3 Goku, or Vegetto or even Android can, when at max power, dissapear with just the click of a directional button and circle? Is there a way to apply that to everybody else? It just seems stupid that Android 18 can do it, but SSj2 Gohan and Ultimate Gohan can't...

Are there in-game transformations? So far I've found there are none.

I cannot beat Super Perfect Cell in DH!!!!!!!!!

How do I unlock SSj4?

Yes there are in game transformations, click on the character and their forms should come up too.

I don't have the answer to the other two, I don't remember it was so long ago.

But then you can only fight in that form...right?

First, you may have to unlock different transformation for certain characters. If you're playing Dragon History, you can only transform if it's a part of the story where the character does a transformation.

Second, certain fights like this you may have to deal a certain amount of damge to you're opponent or fight for a certain amount of time.

You get GT Kid Goku in the GT portion of DH and have to progress to the point when he transforms into a SSJ4.

Again, if you're playing in Dragon History you cannot transform unless the scenario you're playing is one when a character does a transformation.

Not in Duel Mode, or any other mode besides Dragon Universe. In those you can transform and de-transform at will if you have enough Blast Balls.

Oy vey, this is complicated. Should I just just try to beat all of DH first and will that unlock everything? Are there items I need to buy?

Most of the characters are in Dragon History. There are a couple you have to unlock by wishing for them.

All major characters are unlocked at the beginning of the game with all their transformations. You can go into Duel Mode right off the bat and play Vegetto vs Gogeta.
