I thought it be cool to share product placement commercials from around the one. I was just watching the Burger King one and it's cool how they got this custom animation. It looks like he was dubbed in from Worlds Strongest?. But does anyone have any info behind it? Did TOEI do it or was it FUNimation cause it's done pretty well!

That Goku is from DBZ movie 1 (Garlic Jr.), and the background must have been taken from DBZ episode 120 or 121.

That bit definitely looks like they took the animation of Goku backflipping from Dead Zone/Return My Gohan and put him on one of the backgrounds from the episode when Future Trunks arrives to fight revived Freeza and King Cold because there's no mistaking it.

watching one of the special features on the blurays and this popped up. I'm assuming it's for a local game store? But I'd guess FUNimation was contacted to make this AD for them (thus why it was in their archive). I cant find anything tho

The BK one? There are a lot of Toonami broadcast available online and I have yet to find this ad (wich is weird because this ad was on a lot) I have been looking for a better quality version too.

As far as I know BK and DB collaboration took place from May to July 2000th, but I also can't find any broadcast recording with this ad. Is it possible that toonami didn't show bk ads?

That sounds about right. it's possible, maybe not as much as in some regions? I recall seeing a good amount in the north east. I think I have a toonami tape from around this time. If I can find it I'll skim thru it. If I find it, I'll post it online (the commercial)

I remember listening to a panel with Linda Young a few years ago and she said one of her most memorable moments playing Frieza was actually doing a Pepsi commercial with Chris Sabat as Vegeta. Seems like the ad never made it to air, but it sounds like it could've been amazing.
