2000 tickets is pitiful :D

Like I said anyone saying this was a success is lying to themselves it was a complete failure. Even Slam dunk has decimated its box office in Japan in less than 2 weeks.

Considering how small Greece is and the fact that it came out so late 3.000 tickets in 4 days is not that bad in my opinion. The movie is still playing in the theaters by the way.

But sure, if we compare it with One Piece Film: Red which premiered in Greece on November 3, 2022 and sold 16.000 tickets in 4 days (more than 30.000 tickets it total) then yes it's bad.

In other news, the movie premieres in Cyprus on December 29, 2022 and in China on January 6, 2023.

2.932 is not 2000.

What does it mean then? I’m not familiar with how the Greek identify how much a movie has sold.

Is amazing how good this movie did with 0 promotion, too bad Toei was too cheap to spend dime on promotion, this movie probably would have surpassed Broly if someone competent promote it.

Dude no promotion whatsoever was gonna help this dumpster fire it had no hook no interesting premise. The animation was easily worse than berserk 2016.

it needs to do something to revitalize because at this rate DB is falling behind.

Sell the franchise , completely remove The Three T’s would be a good start right now trust is destroyed with the ones making the content and fans. Ppl say there is a DB fatigue but really it’s just a bad writing fatigue.

According to Showtime Analytics, Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero has just recently grossed over $100 million thanks to its release in China.

Specifically, the movie has made $100.2 million. However, the movie hasn't actually done very well in China. It did about a third of what DBS Broly did at about $1.5 million, but it was enough to pass a significant milestone.

One piece red box office numbers are still going up, it made 219 million as of now and in china it made 27 million , DB is falling behind. Since demon slayer every shonen movies stepped up their game and in avg they are grossing 200 million.

One Piece Film Red was the ONLY film since Demon Slayer to gross over $200 million. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was close at $196 million. The third highest grossing anime film since Demon Slayer was Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet at $102 million so reaching even $100 million is still pretty rare.

One piece as of now grossed 246 million, even though JJK did not grossed over 196 million it came real close and in avg if you look the 2 shonen film after Demon slayer movie (JJK 0 and red) their avg is still above 200 million(221 million). In the next movie DB needs to hit 200 million ballpark INMO.

Why? It's the merchandise Toei makes the real money from.

While I agree they sure are dragging their feet! The figuarts schedule has been crazy. The Gamma's come out next month but Beast Gohan isn't coming out until August and we don't even know when Orange Piccolo is coming except after Beast Gohan. We're getting Pan in June before them both!

You said average shonen film but those two aren't the average since that leaves out all the others released after Demon Slayer. If you look at the last 100 shonen films released, only a few made over $100 million.
