Regarding Cell theme remixes, it's completely baffling that people always link a particular fan remix instead of the original when they're talking about it.
As in, how did this massive fail happen and spread so far across that segment of the fanbase?

Not a fan of the original score, but Legacy Of Goku and it's remixes and rearrangements/expanded versions are my guilty pleasure and big nostalgia for the games, as it is PERFECT! The game composer is underrated genius.

True, although he would be the arranger here.
Overall though, while I'm at this point completely fine with disposing of replacement scores like that one entirely (out of principle more so than preference), what was done with it for this game does show that if you have a good arranger and an opportunity, as well as good direction, then you can make something of value even from what may not have had it in a different context.
Same thing goes for a lot of YouTube covers/remixes/re-arrangements. Incomplete ideas can become complete.
Also, the original version really does lend itself well to game contexts like that in the first place, so it was a logical transition.
