U.S. season set Blu-rays going out of print?

Post by Catsenti » Thu Oct 27, 2022 9:03 pm

So...there's no new season 1 sets available in Blu-ray available on Amazon or RightStuf. Maybe Crunchyroll is planning another box set? Either way this is frustrating for me because I have yet to collect all of Kai on Blu-ray.

I just found a copy of season 1 at a local video store, so I'm not entirely sure if it's back in print or if they had a bunch of copies sitting in a shipping warehouse somewhere. They also had the GT full series green brick, several 16:9 movie blu-rays and previously had the Broly Triple Threat package. I've even seen new, sealed copies of the orange brick season 1 and 2 two-pack. If I had to guess, I'd say Crunchyroll is cleaning out a bunch of old warehouses and putting whatever they find up for order on retailer sites.

Fingers crossed for my white whale; the Rock the Dragon set. And the Xenosaga anime but that's unrelated.
