Episode #0515! Mike brings on JP from The Space Above Us podcast to chat about all things space in Dragon Ball! This episode was really cool.
I dig this idea. Next: get a physicist and ask them to do the math behind the momentum calculations of Goku hitting the ground first in the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai. I think Tien would hit the ground first if the physics were normal.

Oh this one was fun. And handled with the "proper" attitude, really, accepting that Toriyama is writing a kid's fantasy that would make a lot of shortcuts and contrivances to move the story along while considering what is plausible. JP really getting into it by the end and trying to reverse-engineer how certain things simply presented as is (Vegeta's ship-calling remote, etc.) might was the cherry on top. I'll definitely try to give Space Above US a look.
