You have linked to the official Dragon Ball site. I don’t really understand what you’re asking. What “credibility” exactly is in question here?

The only caveat I’d give is that they use machine translation for their non-Japanese language content, but it does seem to be reviewed and cleaned beyond a base level pass. Certainly not ideal though.

Well I've been on the internet for quite a while and I've seen loads of "official sites" that turn out to be fake.

Gotcha. Well, dragon-ball-official.com is indeed the real deal here!

Well any site claiming to be official without Toei's or Shueisha permission should be penalized somehow. Whilst it is true many fansites are well made, they need to follow the rules and avoid to deceive fans, escially newbies as you. That is why I dislike sellers so much, they would say anything in exchange of revenue, bottom line that is why they say they are official, so that they can get more traffic on their websites and sell ads. I mean, it is fine to make money out of dragon ball I guess, but just don't lie like that.

Additionally, take en. out of the link you posted, and see what it gives you.
(As an aside, it's high time that people learn that the proper way to verify info about JP content such as this series requires you to consult sites that are actually in JP, which the site is, look at copyright info, etc rather than looking only at places outside of that.)
