I think they did The Matrix films.

If that's true, then oh god. The fights in the sequels were so awful.

I hope you're joking.

Anyway, they are 87Eleven. This information is older than time itself.

They did Fight Club, The Matrix, Sin City, etc. etc.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

If you're insisting sequels to The Matrix were any good, I'd seriously hope YOU were joking. The first movie was decent. The sequels were god awful and highly overrated.

The aspect of the films in question is the action and combat choreography. In that regard, all three Matrix films were splendid. The underwhelming and anticlimactic plots was what got the sequels a lot of flak.

The special effects weren't too good, either. Especially when you could spot out every single scene that was blatantly entirely CG.

Now I'm tempted to search out what the most recent movie they worked on was.

Referring to the sequels. :p As I said, the first was decent. The sequels just pushed it waaaay too far.

That was the intention of the Matrix sequels, to continue the tradition in breaking new grounds in terms of visual effects. For it's time it was top notch.

The fights in the Matrix trilogy weren't lackluster at all. You have to take into account how the movements within an action sequence have to be carefully mapped out in order to mesh with the post-production visual effects ex: Burly Brawl, Neo vs mass Smiths. Another factor in contribution to the supposed 'awful' fights in the trilogy could be associated with the fact that the main cast didn't have the martial arts background since a young age. Thus, making for the various fight scenes' give out a 'rehearsed' feel and vibe I suppose. With that said, even with the forementioned 'setbacks' put into effect, you've gotta give it a go' and admire the end result.

That's why if anything should be worth a watch in the live action Dragonball movie at the very least; it'd have to be the action sequences.

This is tangential, but the sequels are actually highly underrated. Reviews were generally negative and most people outside the Matrix fanbase tend to dislike them. I personally loved them; they get a lot of shit because the plot didn’t seem as groundbreaking the second time around, and the ambiguous ending left a lot of people seeking closure feeling cheated.

But at any rate, the special effects were spectacular, and drew many allusions to Dragon Ball when they were first introduced, so I for one am glad that they’re behind this, even if the rest of the movie is awful.

Very mature and smart. Actor doing his job rather than Tom Rothman.

And then You Tube was flooded with videos of a Kame Hame Ha, which would be cool if Nozawa did one beside 'I'm, too.
