AB Groupe dubbed the Dragon Ball movies and a few more of the Z stuff too. I remember seeing clips of that dub's version of DB Movie 2, DBZ Movie 8, and the Bardock TV special.

Also, Malaysian English dub, and the Filipino English dub =P

Didn't AB Groupe do Movie 8? That's the Big Green dub, right?

They are awesome.

Really? I'll have to see if I can find them on YouTube. And I totally forgot about the Malaysian dub even though I was planning in putting on here when I started. Do you know anything about it, though? Company? Episodes dubbed? Also, I've never heard about a Filipino dub... :? Wait... I remember now! The dub with all those awesome English songs! I've never heard the actual dub, though.

Daizenshuu EX's Newbie Guide says they dubbed it in 1998.

What's this "mixed together" business? Did they merge the footage of the two movies into one?

Yeah. Like the English dub of the first three Digimon movies. I don't know why a company would do that... It just makes it so there's less movies to dub and make money off of.

Thanks for reminding me my only accurate exposure to Digimon Movie 3 is a Wikipedia description. ;__;

I'm thinking now, what's the difference between Blue Water and Ocean? Just two different studios?

I would buy a Dragon Box: The Movies of the Big Green Dub :P
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

BLT (who did those first thirteen episode and the first film) is located in Vancouver and Blue Water is located in Calgary.

Yes. The Ocean Group has several different studios.

What's BLT? The 1995 dub's ending credits don't make mention of BLT. It does however mention "Audio: Dick and Rogers Sound Studio (Vancouver, B.C.)". Either way, the voice cast is clearly the same one from Ocean Studios. :?

Hmmm, that's strange. I've seen BLT credited with the production up there, as opposed to the Ocean Group (who would record the DBZ stuff).

It seems that Wikipedia thinks it was dubbed by BLT Productions, but it IS Wikipedia after all. I don't know what's up with the Dick and Roger Sound Studio. I don't even know if by "audio" they meant the voices or not. It IS listed together with the voice directors, so one would ASSUME it meant the voices (and it already says the music was done by some other company). But the voice cast includes people like Ian Corlett and Saffron Henderson who work for The Ocean Group.

I'm sure there are multiple studios in Vancouver. BLT's website: http://www.bltproductions.ca/

"BLT Productions Ltd. is a privately owned film and television production company", so I don't think it's part of The Ocean Group. Also, this site doesn't list it among the other studios.
