Er, if you mean GBA vs GBA SP, then yes, they are 100% compatible.Manga Ka Kyo! wrote:I can't wait for this game, I wonder if this will play on all GBA systems. I hope so.
If you mean US vs Japanese GBA, then again, yes. There is no region coding of any kind on the Game Boy Advance (or previous Game Boys, for that matter).
Given the context, it would surely make more sense if it was Freeza.

That's great and all, but the name of the game is Bukû Tôgeki.Kami Sama wrote:To no make this topic too slow, i will only give one, many other can be seen, in KSE ( www.kamisama.com.br ) site, in 27/01/2004 news (brasilian date)

The usual translation is Mukutogeki. The translation literally, of the wordSaiyaJedi wrote:That's great and all, but the name of the game is Bukû Tôgeki.Kami Sama wrote:To no make this topic too slow, i will only give one, many other can be seen, in KSE ( www.kamisama.com.br ) site, in 27/01/2004 news (brasilian date)

舞空闘劇 is Bukû Tôgeki. But
it is too literal and little usual, so much that the Ocident adopted Mukutogeki. Vide researches in the
Google. + 700 searches Mukutogeki. + 300 searches 舞空闘劇 . 4 searches Bukû Tôgeki. ^^
Or Dragon Ball... perfect japanese traducion= Doragon Boru.
Remember americans don't know how to use accent. Never you called BukÛ or TÔgeki.

Re: 6 new images from DBZ Mukutogeki (GBA - BANPRESTO)
That's the thing, though... it's that there's no "mu" syllable in the game's title at all. What I think happened, is that whoever transliterated the title over at The Magic Box mistook the ? kanji, which cannot be pronounced "mu," for the ? kanji, which is generally pronounced "mu."Kami Sama wrote:The usual translation is Mukutogeki. The mistake's not hard to spot for a seasoned DBZ fan -- after all, the first two characters in the game's title are the same kanji combination at the beginning of ??? bukuujutsu, the standard flight technique.
So, my point is, regardless of how you romanize it, one word or two, long vowels represented as accents, extra letters, or not at all, THERE IS NO "MU" in Bukuutougeki. It's unfortunate that the version with the "m" has become so popular, because it's... well, wrong. Luckily, it doesn't seem to be the most popular romanization... That honor would appear to go to "Bukuu Tougeki," with about 1,170 hits. So there.
Well... I feel better now.
EDIT: Hmm... well, the Japanese characters didn't come out. Anybody have suggestions on how to make them work?

I have similar problems sometimes, mainly because of incompatabilities between my IME and most of my browsers. Maybe it's something like that?SaiyaJedi wrote:EDIT: Hmm... well, the Japanese characters didn't come out. Anybody have suggestions on how to make them work?
Well, I knew what you meant, at least, and I'll agree with your notion that the kanji in question can't be read as mu. Its only on-yomi is bu.
Dancing in the sky sure sounds like fun~
