Dragon Ball Charity Sale

Post by SSJSteve » Tue Jun 12, 2012 6:44 pm

Hello everyone.

Over the past few days news has come about that a Documentary detailing Andy Whitfield’s battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma had been produced following Andy up until one week before his death. The Documentary is nearing completion, except it needs a big cash boost to get everything finalised. The total amount needed is $200,000, this will cover post-production costs, editing costs, and more. This is where the fans come in, fans have been asked to donate into a Kickstarter fund to raise the money, with the help of fans and anyone willing to contribute, it has already raised an amazing $70,000! We as fans are trying to spread the word as best as possible. This is not only raising awareness of Andy’s death, it is also raising awareness of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Now, this where Dragon Ball helps out. My donation to the fund was small, I was only able to donate $50. So, selling all of my Dragon Ball merchandise will help put money into the fund. I am selling everything Dragon Ball related I have, all of the money collected from the items will be put into the Andy Whitfield Kickstarter fund. If all the items are sold, I know it won't be a huge cash boost, but it will sure help. So, if any of you guys want to buy the merchandise, you really will be helping to fund this project. And of course, if you’re a fan of Andy Whitfield’s work or want to help out towards the project, I’ll post a link below.

Thanks guys!

You might get more hits on this if you open up shipping to places outside of the UK.

Just my opinion, though. Good luck!

These items can be bought cheaper at Amazon.

Dragon Ball: Season One - £15

Dragon Ball GT: Season One - £14

Dragon Ball: Complete Illustratrions - £10

So you might want to decrease your prices a bit lower since the products can be bought brand new sealed and for a cheaper price than yours.

I just thought you should know this if you don't already. Good luck, though!
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

Thanks Li'l Lemmy.

Ok, I'm willing to ship outside of the UK. If anyone is interested from outside the UK let me know and I'll try my best to get you the best shipping price. Obviously the prices may be a little high considering where the items are coming from!
