Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I think 10:30's a little late to just be starting your trick or treating. The places where I went when I was younger stopped at around 9:30-10:00.

Little late for Halloween but here's Vegeta as Freddy Mercury and Bulma as Lady Gaga (because why not?).

A little homage to Toriyama with those "new style" re-creations of famous illustrations (not going to the Z/Kai era though).

And this is for Hades, recolored pictures of Freezer's hypothetical next forms (one probably being more or less on spot and inspired by Cooler, while the other was completely invented). Both recoloring processes are in line with his recolored final form, shown in one of the previous posts.

^I'm guessing you tried to emulate Toriyama's newer shading style via filters in photoshop? The quality varies, party due to poor source material (DAT JPEG COMPRESSION) and the actual art itself. I personally don't think they look that good, but I like the idea. You might want to tone down the bloom first things first.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Just tried to find some way to change the style, but I guess it does have some of Toriyama's newer shading style in some parts.
Tweaking with various GIMP options, I happened to find this one combinaison of add-on filters.
I tried many other filters' combo, but there was no acceptable result...

Changing the whole style is all I can do to give a sense of novelty since there's no real way to easily "remaster" a picture (although I guess the impossible-to-find "4x Sai" can indeed transform anything into high resolution by properly dividing the pixels...)
Wish we had a way to automatically reproduce the quality of the "HD renders through linearts" that the Character Project had, but we're not there yet, there's still no automated program to amazingly improve the quality of a picture, we still need actual people for an astonishing result...

So in the meantime, I guess we can always use tweaks to change the style and give alternative interpretations, but I wish we could do more, of course.

Is there any kind of back story to that white haired Saiyan?

Super Saiyan 3 Quagmire.

My first thought was that this was an "AF" thing, but now that I actually think about it, I don't think the evil Kaioshin lady looked quite like that. That's Trunks, though, isn't it?

Wallpapers 1-10 of my 45 wallpapers (though they are not wallpaper-sized here). Nothing fully designed by me, it's all due to the Character Project and the DeviantArt community, I just put the characters and backgrounds together, tweaking placements and colors as usual.

The rest will be coming later, cause I want you guys to see them directly with a decent size without having to click on 45 links, but I can't put 45 pictures at once either for the sake of this thread's good presentation.

Do you have links to the full sized wallpapers? I wanna grab some of those~

Also, while I'm here, I just came across this really awesome cosplay on Deviantart.

<Kaboom> I'm just glad that he now sounds more like Invader Zim than Rita Repulsa
<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

Wallpapers 11-20 of my 45 wallpapers. My favorite one is there, it's n°16 with Trunks in his apocalyptic future.

No problem, just tell me the ones you want and I'll upload them wallpaper-sized and post the links!

The numbers go as such:
1-2
3-4
5-6
...
but you can also just say "the one with..." if you prefer! 8)

And about that cosplay: that arm is wounded in a much more graphic way than what we've ever seen. How lucky senzu can cure anything except heart viruses! I don't know who's the opponent, but they're not to take lightly! 8)
