It's an act of truly giving yourself over to someone or on the other end of things, asserting complete dominance over a person - that's a huge turn-on to some people. The thing is, BDSM couples are equally as into it. There's a great deal of trust and respect involved in it and that's certainly indicative of a strong bond between two people, it's somewhat sweet in that sense. The thing is, it's not just this violent, spontaneous and unadulterated act - it's a well planned, mutually understood agreement that has safewords and limits.

To label it as creepy is something I find quite insulting. There's extremes to the label that venture off well beyond the realms of what many would consider acceptable and I totally get that, but the act of being tied up or gagged is something that is practiced by many couples - even those who don't have an active interest in the culture.

I understand the reasoning behind the couples who like BDSM. I should have been more specific in my last post. Its not BDSM itself that I find creepy. Its pictures like those you posted that have BDSM but lack the crucial element that makes those kind of fetishes acceptable: noticeable signs of pleasure or willingness of the person tied up.

Pictures like the ones you posted and stated that are sexy, go out of their way to show us that the person that is tied up is uncomfortable, nervous and perhaps unwilling and afraid. There's no trace of any noticeable pleasure in them. There's nothing to indicate that the person tied up actually enjoys it. And that's what is creepy and that's what is bordering violence fantasies, like I stated.

Enjoying complete dominance over a person is only not creepy when the other person enjoys it and is willing to put himself or herself in that position. Any other situation and its definitely creepy. So pictures depicting those fetishes should also depict that willingness or pleasure of the "victim". Otherwise, what makes them different from pictures depicting sexual violence. violent fantasies and rape fantasies?

And I don't really care if you find what I said insulting, what I said is completely fair and not biased at all.
