Who do you like the most - Goku, Vegeta, or Gohan?

Out of the three more major characters of DBZ, which do you prefer the most?

My personal favorite is Goku. I love his overall attitude and personality.

Gohan, for being most normal character
I also really liked Vegeta, yes, he was jerk, but, he was really proud, he would never beg for mercy.
Goku become more and more jerk as series progres, so he is my least favorite character.

Vegeta (great character for a series)





Gohan (decent filler for a series with a failed transition to main protagonist story line...which was thankfully abandoned)

This. I do have a kind of love hate relationship with Goku, so sometimes I actually like him, but I'll put him last in this list.

Gohan was meh but I think he's a likable character.

Vegeta is definitely one of my favourite characters! I like his character development and I just have a thing for evil characters going "good".

I'm curious, what's with the dislike for Gohan? I actually really like him, just not as much as Goku or Vegeta.

Gohan first, since he is the only one not driven by his own ulterior moves.
He is honest in his decisions and efforts.

Goku does pretty much anything that would lead him into a good fight. He even risks lives just because of this.
Vegeta does everything for his own good and his own pride.
Are they more interesting as characters? Yes they are.
But I don't like them because of that they are selfish and self-centered.

Yep.

I can't stand Gohan. Every iteration of him is awful, barring ONE example (first going SSJ2, and he even screws that up almost immediately after beating the Cell Js!). He's never interesting, or funny. He is just there, shoved into the spotlight, and fails to deliver as a good character.

Gohan and Goku are tied when Goku isn't a selfish asshole. Vegeta is up there when he's his Boo arc self and forwards, otherwise I don't care for him.

Gohan (10/17) and Goku (normal)

Goku (selfish)

Vegeta (Boo arc and onwards)

Kid Gohan (Saiyan Saga)

(Everyone else)

Vegeta (Saiyan arc-Cell)
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Goku, easily. Despite his selfishness and stupidity (or maybe because of the latter), I find him much more charming and enjoyable than the other two.

Gohan, I honestly don't care for until we get to the Boo material. From his first appearance, I was actually cheering for Piccolo when he threw him through mountains and booted him down cliffs, anything to shut him up for a while. Then he doesn't really get interesting to me until the Cell Games, and that kind of comes out of nowhere...so it's really the Saiyaman stuff that sells me on him. Then again, I'm amused by Saiyaman more than most I think.

Vegeta falls either somewhere in the middle or at the bottom, depending on my mood and what part of the material we're talking about. I just want to smack the guy for his stupid decisions half the time. I find I enjoy Vegeta most when he's incredibly uncomfortable and hilarity ensues.

Absolutely. Goku, especially at the end of the series, becomes more and more dislikable.

Honestly Gohan's my favorite. I identified with him for some reason.

Vegeta can be cool sometimes but he's a strange asshole.
