Maybe he was naked in the pod but had Saiyan Armor to change into. Gohan might've thought, "Well, these are the only clothes I have for him right now, so I'll dress him in this until I can make him a dougi or something." Just a little speculation on my part.

And yet... I can't seem to find it listed anywhere just yet. The only result is a book in the Lensman series. We're just over a month out, so there should at least be a placeholder listing on most sites by now... right?

That is weird. Japan is usually very good about giving fans a long heads-up for getting their poop together to afford something. Maybe Shueisha used some pro-wrestling moves on Toriyama to add a new chapter?

Apparently Jaco is leading to some quasi-new content from Ooishi in DBSD. Looks like she's going to be drawing about Goku growing up, and I see Grandpa Gohan and Toriyama's Jaco!Goku design as the silhouette on the page:

There was an omake in volume 1 which details how she wanted to give Cell a PP Candy instead of a Senzu Bean and he crapped out 17 and 18 in "pee pee" induced diarrhea, and that her editor turned it down.
