Sorry for the lack of art here guys (and gals). I've been quite busy with some non-related fan stuff and plus things at home are... eh, complicated. Anyway here's a WIP of Bulma I'm planning to color sometime soon.
Bonus points to anyone who gets this reference.

This is both cute and sexy, so it gets my seal of approval.

Heh, thanks! Going to finish that up when I can (along with a whole bunch of other stuff hopefully).

Is the reference to Appleseed?
EDIT
Nah I'm wrong but it does ring a bell. I remember seeing it on a DVD case but I can't remember what it's called.

Love it.

DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! We have a winner!
Bubblegum Crisis was one of the early anime OVAs I watched way back when. Although now I'd must admit, I want to draw an Appleseed/DB fanart and also sketch some of the girls in plugsuits... (god there's not enough hours in the day).

And here I thought it was just a sexy Bulma reference.

Please, do that. For all of us.
Oddly enough, I just found a copy of the 2004
Appleseed on UMD at Goodwill earlier today...
This will never not be my sig:

I feel like I should have gotten that reference, my girlfriend is a
huge Appleseed fan. She'll be very disappointed in me.

...Yup, definitely throwing that into my personal canon as well now.
Good art too.

Speaking of canon... this reminds me of Vegeta's SSJ speech
"...I decided to continue my training in the solitude of space where I would be unhindered by the distractions of the Earth"

That would be the work of Garland if I'm not mistaken. He does DBZ hentai doujins but hes got the art style pretty much down. Id love to see him do a serious work.
More example of his art -

That's more or less why he went with Bulma instead. Am I correct?

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about
your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

What does the small text in the last speech bubble say?

Ah, thanks!
And as for Garland's art, it's really great. Though, I'll always be a Scarz fanboy at heart. Respect.

Love Garland! Big inspiration for me back when I was drawing DB hentai myself in high school.
Speaking of which, took the time out this morning to finish part of the Gohan and Videl *ahem* rump comic.
