DragonballZ.com updated with "Wrath of The Dragon"

Post by _Jrinu_ » Sat Aug 26, 2006 11:50 am

Not much of an update at all, but www.dragonballz.com now has a link on it to take you the the official FUNi "Wrath of The Dragon" website.

There You can find pictures, as well as character descriptions, and A download of the trailer.

It informs us that it will have the japanese dialouge selectable, and that the official date is September 12th. (Both of which are things we already knew)

You can also pre-order it from the FUNimation website, for around 16$.

Um... practically...? :?

It IS the death scene of the bad guy...

And it's not too much of a spoiler, since Goku always kills the bad guy anyway.

I wonder if anybody is gonna see that and think "omfg shenron kills hirudegard!!111"

Which if you translate into normal speak means "Wait, Shen Long fights Hildegarn?"

Anyway, none of what FUNimation does at this point suprises me.

Heh, sorry, I need to study my english better *bow*

And Goku doesn't ALWAYS kill the bad guy. Trunks killed Freeza, Vegeta killed the Ginyu force, Gohan killed Cell, etc... Also, the movie evolves around Trunks quite a bit, so it would've been interesting if Trunks would've killed Hildegarn... But anyway, I know what you mean. Goku does defeat the bad guy quite often. :P

Eventually, but in cases like Frieza's he let them go and then the bad guys tried to kill him behind his back.[/quote]

In the movies, Goku is the chief propegator of the antagonists demise, or is the avatar through which it is done.

Movie 2, Movie 3, Movie 4, Movie 5, Movie 6, Movie 7, Movie 8, and Movie 13...

And he is present or contributes in Movie 1 (Don't hurt my daddy!), Movie 9, Movie 10, and Movie 12.

So...yeah, Goku does have a tenancy to kill Villains in the movies.

So true, but look what happened when there was no Goku...oh gee, let's defeat the villain with some common salt water.

Well, at least it went on to inspire the epic hit M. Night Shyamalan film, "Signs"!!

God damnit! I still can't get over that "Hirudegarn" thing.

I mean seriously! What is the point of that??? It's so ridiculous, his name is Hildegarn.

It's just a more direct romanization...it's not a real name change. Just...interpreted in a different way than we're used to. Oh well.

It's closer to the original pun, if we believe the story behind it.

Also, it's only "Hildegarn" in fansubs.
Where's the beef?
