Akira Toriyama's New Work (Kochikame Anniversary)

big news.
Akira Toriyama and Osamu Akimoto draw a jointly new manga(9 pages).

Osamu Akimoto is a Japanese manga artist, most important work is "Kochikame".
In continuous publication since 1976, Kochikame is the longest-running manga series in history.
The book of "Cho-Kochikame" is put on the market as the 30th anniversary on September 15, 2006.
Akira Toriyama is contributed to it.

EDIT:

You know looking at these, I think it has already been said by someone else before on these forums, but Toriyama's current style really is a hybrid of the two main styles he used throughout DB.

I found his early style really charming and raw while I thought the Cell/Buu style was quite frankly damn sexy at times, so guess his current style is a bit of the best of both worlds.

It looks very interesting. In the last scan where Goku lands I believe (at least it looks like) the guy (Kochikame?) tells him that he's parking illegaly. That's hilarious =D. (I hope i got it right).

That was wonderful! I assume its as impossible to get killed in KochiKame as it is in Looney Tunes and that's why Freeza's attacks did nothing to him.
I love how Veggie freaked out at the end.

I'll translate fully at some point (busy right now, with school and several other translation pet projects going on at the same time), but in the meantime, I was wondering...

Did Akimoto-sensei do a collaboration with Eiichiro Oda, or did Oda contribute something else to Chou-KochiKame? I'd be interested in seeing it, either way.
