Not at all. If Freeza was hurt by the previous attacks, so was Goku. Heck, Goku could barely even stand.

I'd like Trunks to be in the movie as an adult or just to be seen by Freeza since Freeza may believe he's the same Trunks who killed him.

It will be very interesting if the first thing he does is try to find Trunks then have Vegeta arrive and find him barley alive and be told he's next.

I imagine that's pretty much confirmed then unless FUNi turn around and straight up force Sabat to cast someone else.

Do the majority of fans dislike Youngs performance?

Also, not that it means anything but I noticed they used a couple of seconds of Freeza's original dub voice in Battle of Gods. At the start, when there's a flashback.

Personally, I have no preference.

How is he even a threat at this point you know? Is there some kind of super (freeza's race) god now?

The plot will require it, therefore he shall be strong enough to be a threat.

The question is: How will the plot make him a threat? Had he somehow gotten a body and trained in Hell? Will he somehow become a god? Will he unlock more transformations?

I AM intrigued by Piccolo going back in action and the return of Bowl Cut Gohan, though.

I'm not sure how Freeza can unlock more forms if the other forms he had he created them himself to conserve power. But, then again, he is a mutant. Still, the transformation either refers to the God power-up Freeza is getting or the God power-up Vegeta is getting.

they're both good imo. but this is dragon ball z, not kai. anyways either voice is good for the movie

From what I've seen on various sites, those that tend to like Young's performance look at the original Funimation dub through nostalgia goggles. Personally, for comedic value, I think her performance was okay, but I've preferred Ayres performance in Kai substantially. I thought his performance fit better in terms of matching Ryusei Nakao's original performance, in terms of the aloofness and grandiose nature that his performance as Freeza conveyed. Young, in my opinion, was probably cast in the role largely due to how similar her voice sounded to the one Pauline Newstone used during the "Ocean" dub. I don't think Young is bad by any means, just that, in hindsight, I don't think she worked that well as Freeza, especially in light of Ayres' performance for Kai.

The Earth's Dragon Balls can wish back people if they have been dead less then a year. Freeza has been dead for at least 15 years by now.

If you're meaning what I'm pretty sure you're meaning here, then this never was a problem. I mean, they offered to bring back Grandpa Gohan, remember? The year restriction only applies to large groups of people.

Wasn't Goku dead a little over a year in the saiyan saga. Anyway yes Frieza is back. Frieza vs Beerus could end up fight of the series to me.

Gohan's changed his hairstyle a fucktuple amount of times, though. I don't see how it's inconceivable that he changed it again over the course of a decade.
