But 4 years after, I played Super Butoden and that was a better game !!

First played? Legends on the Saturn I think... my cousin owned both the Saturn and Playstation and loved DBZ, I was really young at the time.


First owned? Budokai 1 on the PS2

I remember about a month or two after getting into the series I went on Ebay and bought Budokai 1, Tenkaichi 1 and Legacy of Goku 1 at the same time.

I think I played Budokai first because I remember when I eventually put Tenkaichi 1 on I was amazed at the huge improvement in graphics and the three dimensional arena's and the much bigger roster.

None of them are anything special but at the time I thought it was cool.

I'm pretty sure that my first was Ultimate Battle 22. I didn't care for it. Next was Budokai 1: that story mode. Nothing but disappointment since. Xenoverse definitely looks promising.

I had that version as well. I think they just put him on the cover since the Buu arc was being aired in English around the same time the first Budokai was released.
