Your pros and cons about each transformation

Post by EXBadguy » Tue Mar 10, 2015 11:38 am

I was gonna make a thread about what can be changed about the gold Frieza form and Super Saiyan God, but then I'll get jumped by some members here who love them, so I'm gonna make this simple. What did you like and dislike about any forms? I'll start

Super Saiyan:
+gold spiky hair
+instant stat boost
+/- a bit too simple, but based on it's title, it's acceptable

Super Saiyan 2
+a great direct successor
+lightning galore
-not that much of a difference of appearance, with the exception of Teen Gohan(yes I sometimes call him that, I don't care).

Super Saiyan 3
+DRASTIC transformation
+Change of voice
+The long hair is so sweet

Super Saiyan God
+The Limit Breaker Kamehameha was cool in some games, but....
-EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THE FORM SUCKS!
-I think the title shouldn't have been named "Super Saiyan God", should've been named something else.
-I honestly would rather it be a fiery galaxy blue(look up the color) or a rainbow kaioken variant.

Super Saiyan 4
+Another drastic transformation
+Deep serious voice
+The dark tone around it
+The x10 Kamehameha
-The way the transformation was the first time.

I got more, but I'll post them later this week. Anyway guys, enjoy discussing.

Only I do those things, because people love me, and they despise you....derp!

Super Saiyan

+Iconic transformation
+Gold hair is badass
+Brings out the inner rage (in the beginning at least)
-Became common and expected

Super Saiyan 2

+Electricity makes it look very powerful
+Nice simple change from 1, just makes the hair spikier
+Gohan was badass
-Almost completely forgotten

Super Saiyan 3

+Long hair makes him more intimidating
+More intense electricity
-Caveman face
-Gotenks looks really ugly

Super Saiyan 4

+Nice change from the classic gold look
+The tail is brought back
-Shouldn't be called a super saiyan form because its more like a transformed Oozaru
-Clothes grow from thin air (clothes aren't ugly I just think it doesn't make any sense)

Super Saiyan God

+Red hair looks fine
+Aura is really wavy and cool
+Nice and simple
-The ritual they do to get it is random and weird

Rankings

1. Super Saiyan 2
2. Super Saiyan
3. Super Saiyan God
4. Super Saiyan 3
5. Super Saiyan 4
Heroes come and go, but legends are forever.

60.

Rest in peace.

Oolong and Puar

+They can become pretty much anything
+Form doesn't actually make either stronger
-Only Oolong has the drawback.

Man Wolf

+A funny gag...that is all.

Oozaru

+Cool spin on the werewolf idea
+Becoming gigantic really makes the form look intimidating
+The roar is great
+I like how it has a clear exploitable weakness. Even someone weak can theoretically beat one if they cut of it's tail.
+I like the power ball idea and how it can substitute as a moon.
-Hardly appeared enough.

Super Saiyan (Toei Version)

+Loved the no pupils
+Loved the lingering aura effect it had like when Goku broke Slug's arm
-Don't like how the aura seems to be what changed Goku more than Goku changing himself.
-Could have also been called a Super Kaio-Ken since it seems to mix Kaio-Ken and SSJ (before SSJ was a thing)

Super Saiyan

+The most iconic and biggest game changer of the franchise.
+The aura and it's different types are awesome.
+The sound effect of the aura is music to my ears
+The stern facial expression Super Saiyans have.
+The golden colour was a great choice
+Design could have fit a new character for those who had significant changes.
-Looks meh on characters who don't get much of a change like Kid Gohan and Vegeta. Super Saiyan works best when hair drastically changes.

Grade forms

+Interesting way to boost power, but also add some drawbacks to it
+I like the muscles bulking up look
+I like how the forms pretty much taught that power is nothing if you can't hit your opponent.
-Doesn't look much different than SSJ for anyone.
-Entirely thrown away as quickly as they came.

Super Saiyan 2

+The meaner looking face
+Hair becoming spikier, but doing a decent attempt look different.
+Kid Gohan rocking the form, and where it stood out the most
+The lighting aura was badass
-Underutilized big time
-Adult Gohan and Vegeta hardly look different at all as SSJ2

Super Saiyan 3

+The long spiky hair curving down, instead of the usual up.
+The transformation to SSJ3 is always awesome looking
+The fact it has a pretty big flaw in energy consumption
+The circular aura it has sometimes.
+Looks significant different than previous forms.
+Deepens voice
+/-No eyebrows. I'm kinda in the middle. Looks kinda cool, but also weird.

Super Saiyan 4

+Looks different an unique for everyone who used the form
+Drops the gold and takes a drastic and amazing turn
+Brings back Oozaru elements that have long since been gone
+Bulks one up and increases height
+Allowed Goku to be an adult again ala SHAZAM!!!
+Drastically different from all previous forms
-No nipples is really really weird. Bothers me more than no eyebrows for SSJ3
-Magic pants and clothing is weird. Though I guess no one wants a nekkid Goku
-Form arguably doesn't have a weakness even though SSJ3 did.

Legendary Super Saiyan

+I like how beefy the skinny Broly becomes, as well as how his hair changes into a cool spiked look.
+I like how Broly has no pupils in this form
+The aura and sound effects that this form came with are awesome.
-Woulda liked the form always have green hair, but apparently that's only because of the device Broly had on.

Super Saiyan God

+Skinny Goku is interesting
+Aura looks really cool
+Kinda like the red hair
+Transformation itself was neat, more so in the video games like heroes.
-Ritual itself is dumb and makes Saiyans some godly race now. Even more so than they already were.
-The form is extremely exploitable for a power up, even more so than anything before it.
-Goku looks like a recolour as they couldn't even just tweak his hair beyond making it look sharper.
-The form has the shortest run time of all forms. It's possibly now thrown out completely.
-Gets rid of all super saiyan forms, including itself.
-Allows Goku and possibly Vegeta to rip off and steal away Gohan's special trait.

Monster Zarbon

+It's funny how the handsome Zarbon becomes a grotesque beast.
+I like how Zarbon doesn't like this form.
-It doesn't look that unique. Just an ugly Zarbon.

First Form Freeza

+A very sleek looking character, very original looking.
+Freeza's second most iconic form and the one people in the galaxy know of.
+How Freeza is really tiny, but holds such a huge power in that form.
+I can't think of anything wrong with it.

Second Form Freeza

+I like how the little guy becomes huge and suddenly dwarfs everyone.
+Brings a new form of intimidation
+Horns raise up and are utilize for a brutal impalement attack.
+Voice deepens and brings a different kind of menacing.
-Doesn't look a hell of a lot different than First Form and can come off as just tall Freeza.
-Forgotten pretty quickly and won't be used again most likely
-Loses the little guy being extremely powerful thing I like.

Third Form Freeza

+Slightly deeper voice
+Drastically changes Freeza's facial look
+Really shows Freeza's inner beast more than any other form
+Changes Freeza's body time in a weird but alien like way.
-I think Ridley Scott is gonna sue someone.
-Forgotten and tossed aside quicky

Final Form Freeza/100%

+The most iconic and drastic change compared to all of his previous forms.
+The design is so good it could have easily been used for a new character
+Returning to the small stature but being extremely powerful despite that.
+Voice being maybe slightly deeper than First Form
+The ultimate case of don't judge a book by it's cover, even stated by Piccolo.
-100% while not a form, is just a roid raged looking Freeza. Him looking sleek but powerful was cooler than being super bulky to ruin that theme.

Mecha Freeza

+Looks all Frankenstien like
+I like how he looks in bad shape instead of being sleek and clean
+I like how instead of going full on Cyborg, Freeza just has Cyborg parts.
-Barely around for long, but Freeza was just playing his new role for benchmarking.

Golden "Super Saiyan" Freeza

+/- The irony of his form practically being the one thing he feared most from saiyans.
-Comes off as a Freeza recolour, despite some tiny differences
-Colours while royal, look really ugly together here
-A massive disappointment in comparison to Freeza's other forms
-People on Xenoverse can make a better next form with the parts given to us

Imperfect Cell

+Love the creepy bug design
+Love how it absorbs people and the cyborgs, really showing how creepy he is
+Another really original looking design
+Aura is really cool when it shows his past victims in it
-His crotch matches his mouth, could start talking

Semi-Perfect Cell

+Looks significantly different
+Precursor to a cooler looking form
-Looks ugly
-Makes him more humanoid bug than bug like creature.

Perfect Cell/Super Perfect Cell

+Looks extremely cool
+Brings back the bug wings
+Hides tail which is still there, but even so houses another ability
+Transformation looked sick.
+Adds SSJ2 qualities in aura, but isn't demoted a point since it's just a symbol of his Zenkai making him stronger.
-Maybe coulda used more bug elements in the form.

Fat Majin Boo

+A big curve ball from previous villain forms. Absorbing people actually causing a weaker transformation rather than stronger.
+The fact he looks so stupid on the outside, but can still be terrifying if he wants to be
+His ability to use his body to morph into other people if he wants to, adding more to his look.
+The Japanese voice adding to the creep factor.
+The English voice adding a more child like persona which makes Boo more childish and off putting
-The english voice always sounding stupid and never making Boo scary. Also always starting sentences like Hulk would his own.

Evil Boo

+An interesting change to have him be Boo's opposite...mainly be super skinny.
+I like how his face is different too, without having Boo's Brock eyes.
-Not really that interesting to look at. Kinda just Skinny Boo and that's it.

Super Boo/Absorption's

+Probably shoulda been the Boo that came out of Fat Boo in the first place.
+I like how every absorption changes his clothing, head antennae, and facial features
+I like how his voice changes as well as personality with each absorption
+I like how the form brought more cunning to the character
-Is more interesting to look at once he absorbs people, than his basic look.
-Roid Boo is not interesting to look at beyond the story the form tells

Kid Boo

+I like how it makes Boo totally insane
+I like how he's even more playful in this form, fitting for a child.
-It's just a kid form of Super Boo, and is only more popular than Super because it's the last main fight in the series.

Garlic Jr

+I like how his skin colour changes
+I like how his voice deepens
-Not very interesting to look at in general

Cooler

+I like his look in general
+He looks different enough from Freeza without just copying his design

Final Form Cooler

+Really cool looking final form
+I really dig the mask he gets
+Cooler out do's Freeza's final form (Golden Freeza) because he's Cooler...ha...ha....ha...eh.
+I have nothing bad to say about it.

Meta Cooler

+I like the colours of the form
-Boring. Just a metal job of Coolers previous form. Freeza out did Cooler here.

Big Geti Cooler

+Looks way better and more interesting than Meta Cooler
+The wire formation could have been used for more Cooler designs
-Barely around and killed off fast.

Super 13

+I like how his skin colour drastically changes
+Colours mesh well with the design
+Like how he absorbed other chips of his fallen comrades to achieve this form
-His hair is literally a Vegeta rip off.

Bojack and minions

+I like how skin colour changes
+I like how Bojack's and Gokua's hair changes colour
+Like how their pendants seem to have something to do with the change
-Would have liked a bit more than bulking up and hair colour change.

Super Janemba

+Really awesome and unique looking character
+Colours look great
+Makes a bold statement coming off from his fat self
+Transitions much better than Fat Boo to Super Boo was
-A Boo rip off in a sense of going from fat to skinny.

Evolved Hildegarn

+I like the colour and slight body change.
-I miss the skull he had originally.
-Overall not that interesting a looker.

That's about everything. Some forms I missed on purpose. GT I keep forgetting about so I can't get a read on it.

Kaio-ken
+is a gamble because it has the potential to harm the user if misused
+can multiply upon itself
+has a really cool aura
+good suspense

Ssj1
+the meta "let's save time on inking!" reason behind it X3
+looks different without being too unrecognizable
+how difficult it was for Gokû to control himself at first
+the eerie vocab/grammar shifts that occurred at first

Ssj2
+lightning is cool
+the change from Gohan's ssj1 hair to his ssj2 hair meant business
-no one else's ssj hair changed in that much of a noticable way

Ssj3
+that hair length! *u*
-those eyebrows. >_<
-hi blonde Raditz
+fanart of Nappa in ssj3 with his facial hair growing super-long instead because he's bald
+the pupils/irises are different than previous ssj forms

Ssj4
+Gokû's hair looks great! Bestial.
-Vegeta's hair looks awful; like he bought a bunch of hair-extensions. >_<
+OMG different color schemes for each ssj4! *u*
-how is Gogeta a redhead when both Gokû and Vegeta's ssj4 hair is black?
+the original introduction of magenta on Gokû
+TAILS; it brought the tails back
+it brought adult Gokû back from the depths of GT's "wait, you thought we'd actually make him an adult again?"-ness

Ssjg
+all the desu!! Image
+magenta hair is love
+giant red irises are delightfully eerie
+slimmed down body type's so pretty =u=
+Gokû repeatedly and wordlessly checking out his arms with unease right after he gets the form XD
+it sparkles!
+elemental powers are cool; they may be overused in stories, but I don't care, they're cool
-the ssjg power summoning circle was kinda silly
-CGI aura when we could've had a cut of Shida animating those flames
+Gokû accidentally absorbing it
+and then later absorbing that ki blast without knowing how he did that; please let him figure out in F how he did that
-would've liked a full costume change as well
+the boot-ribbons are cute though
-not knowing if it'll appear in F, not knowing that even if Gokû uses it, not knowing if Vegeta's would be blue or not (I want it to be blue so much)
+not having the full backstory on the form; as it allows for fun-times with head-canon
On hiatus.

+More Power
-Widens the power gap for better or for worst

Super Saiyan 3
+Even More Power
-Widens the power gap for better or for worst

Super Saiyan 4
+More Power than your body has room for
+Best looking design out of all transformations
-Widens the power gap for better or for worst

Super Saiyan God
+LOTSA Power
+Need more than just power to access
+Lasts a limited time

Super Saiyan:
+ The most iconic of all transformations
+ Cool aura
+ The blue eyes
+ Drastic change in hairstyle
+ The path it takes to become a SSJ
- Became old hat too quickly

Super Saiyan 2:
+ That fucking lighting aura
- Don't provide much of change aesthetically for most of the Saiyans that have access to the transformation
- Became old hat too quickly

Super Saiyan 3:
-/+ The hair while cool looking is essentially Raditz's hairstyle coloured
+ Drastic change in tone of voice
+ A transformation that can be gained through hard work
+ The flaming golden aura
- Transformation is practically impossible to master
- Caveman eyebrows

Super Saiyan 4:
- Eyeliner? Seriously?
+ The sparkling aura
+ The wicked awesome rebirth of fur related transformations
- Grants magical pants
+ Unique hairstyle
- Inconsistent power scaling (It's GT though, what do you expect?)
- The method for becoming a SSJ4 is contrived beyond belief

Super Saiyan God:
+ The crimson hair and eyes
+ The wavey, flame like aura
+ A return to simple transformations
+ Grants you the ability to float in the air by default
- The ritual to grant access to the transformation is ridiculous
- Seems to be another on-time-only transformation

How does God not widen the power gap like the others?

Well it does, but because of its limitations it balances out to not be that bad an issue, at least to me. Actually, one negative for SSJGod:

-Worst looking design of all the transformations.

Super Saiyan:

+The build up to it (Freeza's fear of it, the constant foreshadowing)
+The first transformation
+Overall look
-Becomes obsolete; always bothered me that EVERYONE pretty much with any Saiyan blood becomes able to achieve it, especially Goku Jr, with the blood line being so thin by that point

Super Saiyan 2
+ My absolute favorite of the transformations
+SSJ2 Gohan in general is just awesome
+The first transformation is epic, with Spirit vs Spirit playing in the background
+I love how it combines power with speed, something that they had been trying to achieve
-It can be difficult to tell apart for SSJ unless you know what to look for. Took me a while to get that down

Super Saiyan 3
+The transformation scene was awesome
+Deeper voice makes a more intimidating fight
-Not a fan of the overall look
-Seems like its limits on how much power it requires, etc really outweigh its benefits

Super Saiyan 4
+Liked the departure from the gold look
+I love the tail, I always have, no real reason why
+Voice again makes it more intimidating
-Given its appearance in GT, is usually pushed aside/forgotten about or disregarded as 'non-canon'

Super Saiyan God
+Really like the overall red tint though I think blue would have stood out more
+Like that the character actually stays skinny instead of becoming beefed up, makes sense to me to allow for speed
+I actually like the idea that initially it is not something that can be achieved alone
-The ritual itself though is a bit contrived, a ritual I have no problem with but it seems most rituals are the same. Would have liked to see something a bit more creative
We truly begin to live when we find something we're willing to die for

Limitations? You can abuse the shit out of that form and have Tarble be a super powerful god. Pretty much every hero saiyan can be a god since the next generation are full of prodigies. Goku takes years for SSJ3, and the boys do it in a week.

Yeah, and there's no significant downside to it. You've never got an incentive not to try and go for God, because worst case scenario it runs out and you're left in the state you were before going God, no net downside at all.

Best case scenario you get to keep most of the power anyway and you're now forever broken.

Also,
-His crotch matches his mouth, could start talking
How is that not a plus?

Oozaru:
+ Looks really powerful
+ Looks initimidating, a true monster
+ Every Saiyan can become it if he has a tail
+ Typical Saiyan trait
- Looks all the same in the case of every user
- Ugly

False Super Saiyan:
+ Fine transition between Base and Super Saiyan
+ Lack of pupils makes the user wild-looking
- It needs others enery to unlock it

Super Saiyan:
+ Huge increase in power
+ Fine golden hair and blue/turquoise pupils
+ Fine change of skin colour
+ Interesting concept of a lifting hair
+ Fine Golden aura
+ The users look enough differently in form
+ Handsome looking

Super Saiyan grade 2:
+ Gives more power
+ Looks really powerful
+ More explosive aura
- The huge muscle increase suggests a unproportional body structure

Super Saiyan grade 3:
+ Wild-looking monster-man with storm-like aura
- Unproportional body structure, especially in the case of arms and shoulders
- Singificant energy drain
- Makes the user significantly slower

Legendary Super Saiyan:
+ Insteresting concept of green hair instead of golden
+ Wild-looking monster-man
+ The lack of pupils really suggets mad personality
+ Invulnerability(until it gets overwhelmed)
- Unproportional body structure, especially in the case of arms and shoulders
- Too simple personality in the form

Super Saiyan 2:
+ Spikier hair
+ Proportional increase in the muscle mass
+ Huge increase in speed
+ More serious eyes
+ The presence of lightning makes it to look very powerful and sly
+ The perfect Super Saiyan form

Super Saiyan 3:
+ Acceptable muscle mass increase
+ The presence of complete eye structure
+ Spiky long hair
+ Deepens the voice and it gives gains in height
+ The aura's star-like shape
- Monster-like face with those protrusive frontal bones above the eyes
- The presence of lightning
- Too much energy drain and time-limit

Super Saiyan 4:
+ Acceptable muscle increase
+ Fine reddish fur
+ Lack of Super Saiyan features, but having golden aura
+ Complete eye structure which might differ in every cases
+ Gains in height and lowering the voice
+ The real feeling of a Saiyan
+ It somewhat maintains that haistyle of the Base form
+ Stable energy consumption
+ Macho looking
- Magical pants

Saiyan God:
+ Immeasurable gains in power and speed
+ Fine change of skin's colour
+ God-like aura, magical impression
+ Gains in height
+ Complete eye structure
+ Heavily maintains the hairstyle of the Base form - simplicity
+ Mysterious skinny looking, but huge power
+ A Ki that can not be sensed by anyone
+ Mysterious interference with the Super Saiyan form as whether or not that is the reason why Goku could maintain the power of it after the time-limit
+ Concrete evidence of the Saiyan's goodnes
+/- The same hair colour like in the case of Kaio-ken
+/- Weird ritual to acheive it
+/- Innocent looking
- Time-limit

Freeza's Ultimate Golden God Evolution:
+ Fine God-like Aura
+ Somewhat maintains the looking of his True form(4th form) - simplicity
+ Handsome looking(even if Freeza is an alien monster)
+/- The mixt of purple and golden
+/- Can be acheived through training(?)
English is not my first language!
I'm still waiting for Dragon Ball in Super...

Do you honestly think Goku, or Vegeta, would allow that to happen? They don't even like accepting help, what do you think would happen when the kids ask for their assistance because they got too lazy? If spamming was a problem, There would be no point in Revival of F existing.

I'm not even being sarcastic though. The closest to a downside to using the form is that it'd be like you didn't use it, and even that's not a guaranteed outcome.

Let's see:

Super Saiyan
+ Blonde/Gold hair works very well.
- Red pupils would have been better

Super Saiayn 2
+ Lightning
+ Hair stands up a bit more, looks the best on Goku imo.

Super Saiyan 3
+ Absolutely ridiculous.
- No eyebrows
+ Love the hair
+ Love how Goku has a deeper voice (dub)
+ SS3 BF score theme.

Super Saiyan God
+ Has similar hair to base Goku
+ Goku rocking pinkish hair
+ Aura
+ Goku being skinnier
- Limited and we probs would never see it again :(

Sustained Great Ape (Super Saiyan 4)
+ Red fur
+ Eye liner
+ Hair
- don't like the pants
- looks awful on Vegeta

Great Ape

+ Very cool and unexpected (at the time)
+ Saiyans keeping their battle armour when transforming
- It seems to be a forgotten thing in DB now :( Goten and Trunks didn't even have tails!

I don't know the sub much(nor do I like it), but doesn't Goku's voice get deeper in that form in the JPN version too? Seems I can't remember.

Oozaru:
+ Looks scary, intimidating
+ Great way of showing how savage the Saiyans can be
- Seems cheap, in terms of power

Super Saiyan:
+ Iconic
+ Good design
+ Most foreshadowed transformation in the series
+ Best fights out of all of the transformations
+ Power can be upgraded with training
- It's a joke later on

Super Saiyan 2:
+ Best transformation scene, in the anime
+ The sparks make it look amazingly powerful
- Lazy design
- Close to useless

Super Saiyan 3:
+ Best design, looks fierce and powerful
+ Its transformation scene demonstrated exactly how strong Goku was and how hard of a power it was to achieve
+ High risk, high reward transformation, similar to the Kaioken power-up.
- Useless
- Kinda over the top

Super Saiyan God:
+ Simple, elegant, cool looking design
+ Flame aura
+ The concept of Godly Ki
- I don't like, or see how it makes sense, for muscle mass to decrease
- Cheap transformation
- Weak transformation scene

Super Saiyan 4:
+ Goes back to the roots of the Saiyans
+ Somewhat cool looking
- Over-the-top design

Do you apply this same criticism to Freeza and Cell when they go from their 3rd and Semi-Perfect forms, respectively, to their Final and Perfect forms?

Super Saiyan

+Golden hair, green pupil-less eyes, and gold aura looks so cool. On paper, describing a transformation like this would seem ridiculous, but Toriyama managed to make it iconic.
+I love the stern, angry disposition of saiyans who first go SSJ.
- Goten and Kid Trunks ruined everything. They stripped the uniqueness of this form, and made the legend a joke. I hate them.

Super Saiyan 2

+Electricity (preferably, Toei blue one) makes the aura so badass and the saiyan look more initimidating.
+ The transformation itself is subtle (excluding Kid Gohan's), but changes enough to make the character look cooler.
+ SSJ2 Kid Gohan is the greatest thing in DBZ. Too bad he only had two fights to shine in before he was replaced by his pansy older self.
- It's hard to tell when certain characters are SSJ2.
- This is the forgotten form of SSJs, and is almost always skipped in favor of SSJ3 or just not used at all.
- SSJ2 should not have even been a thing. This was Gohan's special transformation.

Super Saiyan 3

+Long hair is intense.
+ More lightning on aura is badass.
+ Lack of eyebrows gives the saiyan an intimidating, primitive appearance, which goes well with saiyans' connection with apes.
- As awesome as it looks, ascending to this level was sort of jumping the shark in regards to transformations, and has led to so much terrible fan art of even greater SSJ levels.
- This form should have been exclusive to Goku, and only while he was dead. My reasoning is simple: all SSJ3s look the goddamn same! SSJ Goku, Gohan, Trunks, and Vegeta looked different from one another, along with their SSJ2 forms. But, as SSJ3s, there are no distinguishing factors since they all have the same long hair, eyes, and lack of eyebrows.

Super Saiyan 4

+ I like the way it's attained, as it goes back to the roots of the saiyans (i.e. Great Ape and tails).
+ The appearance is different, but cool.
- Shouldn't be called SSJ4. I do not think SSJ2 or SSJ3 are prerequisites for this transformation, just SSJ1. I would have settled for Primal Super Saiyan.
- The color scheme bothers me. The red fur and yellow eyes is random. IMO, this form should consist of two, uhh, forms. The base SSJ4, which would have brown fur and light brown eyes with pupils, making it a perfect combination of Oozaru and Base saiyan. And then the actual SSJ, powered-up form of it, which would consist of yellow hair, golden fur, and yellow eyes with pupils (the red eye liner can stay).

Super Saiyan God

- The ritual to obtain this form is asinine. Leave that crap for anime like Sailor Moon.
- The form itself looks incredibly stupid. Skinnier Base Goku with red hair and eyes? And he doesn't even have a mad look... he's calm while in this form! This is, single-handedly, the worst looking form in the history of this franchise.
- If you show a casual fan a picture of this form, and tell them it's Goku's new powered-up Kaio-Ken, they'll believe it.
- It is far too easy to attain this form. You can argue that only a select few will be able to absorb its powers, but in the time transformed, they can beat any Buu-level opponent.
- Why is it called SUPER Saiyan God? It has nothing to do with SSJs. It should be called, plain and simply, Saiyan God.
- Apparently, thanks to absorbing the powers of this form, Goku will never use SSJ2 or SSJ3 again (or possibly even SSJ!) Goodbye, iconic piece of DBZ.
- Now we have Ultimate Goku and Ultimate Vegeta, so Gohan is even more irrelevant.
- I hate this form. I HATE THIS FORM! It's ruining the franchise. MAKE IT GO AWAYYYYYYY!!!
