What do you mean by that last part?Dyno wrote:00:20am here, therefore 12:20pm there. I just hope I will be online when news start to appear.
Oh, and the official Dragon Ball Heroes Twitter posted this two hours ago: "We will deliver it a miss experience meeting a lot of Dragon Ball content!"
Which I think it could mean not only we will see Dragon Ball S related, but for the Dragon Ball franchise as a whole.

If this is going to be 100+ series then chances are he will especially after what he got in the last 2 movies.Tennessaiyan wrote:I do NOT expect that to happen EVER, but that would be nice.
In bog we saw him throw his pride away for earth and get stronger then Goku for a moment in order to protect Bulma.
In fnf we see him get the same training and power as Goku then the big surprise at the end, get to defeat the main villain of the movie.
So if Toriyama is willing to have him defeat the main villain in a movie then why wouldn't he in a series' arc ?
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Re: Official Announcement Thread & Discussion
Doesn't seem to be anything about Super. From what I can tell with Google's translations, May 9th (go-ku) is becoming an actual "Goku Day" holiday in Japan and then stuff related to the 30th Anniversary?

I don't see anything related to the new series, though.

So, no Super today? Ah well, at least we got suit Goku. Suit Goku numbs the pain of waiting.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Doesn't seem to be anything about Super. Don't be too alarmed if I just don't show up for a few months. Hooray for fleeting interests!

You mean May 9th? May (5) is Go.
March 9th would be Miku (like Hatsune). I think.

Very cute if we're getting Go-ku/5-9 day officiated. X3
If you visit Pixiv, there's actually days leading up to 5-9 each year.
5/7 is Chi-Chi, 5/8 is Gohan, 5/9 is Gokû (and also Piccolo Day), and 5/10 is Goten.

Looks as though we'll have to wait for V-Jump for anything Super related now. It is a bumper edition, so it sounds promising.

Looks like the big news was
-5/9 becoming an official Holiday
-An offical "30th Anniversary" logo to be used in promotional material
-A new 30th anniversary book?

Aaaaah, such a letdown!
I was really hoping at least for a logo or something.

If the plot happens after Resurrection 'F' (which is still unsure), they'd better say it as soon as possible, since people there who haven't seen the movie yet will be forced to go to the cinema while it's still time to do so and increase even more the success of the movie (and make them more money in the process).
If they announce this, the hidden message will pretty much be: "The series will be after RF. Want to be able to understand what's going on and keep up properly with the new series in July? Then pay a ticket to see the current movie right now!! Go, rush at the cinemas, every single fan, before it's too late for you to follow the new series!! Otherwise, it will be like you missed 10 episodes from the get-go!"

Hi
Re: Official Announcement Thread & Discussion
So... It was indeed a big announcement, but for Japan-only. So May 9th will be a holiday in "commemoration" of Kakarot, huh? That is interesting, to say the least. It should be a global holiday, only then it would be fantastic!
ANN covered it as well.

I wonder how much taxpayer money was just wasted on this Gokuu Day thing?

There's an interview about Dragon ball super as well but i only saw it in french. Would need to use google translate. http://mcetv.fr/mon-mag-culture/dragon- ... -tf1-0605/
Re: Official Announcement Thread & Discussion
^ No, don't get fooled by this, it is a fake interview of Goku himself (not a voice actor, it's really Goku as the character) about Dragon Ball Super.
So, nothing new to learn.
Toei has only told "Le Monde" that the series' target is children, which therefore requires a dub, which might take time.
Nothing new, all shonen series (including all Dragon Ball series so far) are targetted to children (but ultimately bringing a non-child fanbase) and therefore requires a dub.
Actually, even more mature series/movies require a dub, so it's really just a thing he says to mean "don't rush us, we have to take our time before we do a dub and we can't give it to you without that", invoking the "it's for our children" excuse.

This is a repost of an article from Le Gorafi, a French satirical website which publishes humorous news articles about fictional events (or fictional consequences of real events). Do you know the English website The Onion? It's like that, but in French.JahSly90 wrote:There's an interview about Dragon ball super as well but i only saw it in french. It's all in good fun and they never, even claimed to be a real news site, even though some people sometime mistake their articles for real facts.
