About the first Saiyan God.

Shenron said when his form burned out on him he was destroyed, but I just realized that makes no sense. When Goku lost the Saiyan God form mid battle, he barely lost any power. So, even after turning to normal, the first Saiyan God still should have beat all evil saiyans easily and would certainly be the strongest saiyan at that point. Which would mean Frieza and his family would be insta-killed when they first cross paths with the saiyan race. :idea:

It was stated that Goku absorbed the power because he's a genius.

Turns out the original Super Saiyan God wasn't.

Goku's body was able to "learn" from the experience of being a Super Saiyan God and retained its latent raw power even when the appearance of the form dissipated. The original Super Saiyan wasn't obviously that gifted in battle.

Well assuming Vegeta was also a recipient of keeping some of the power, could it be that battle power was a variable involved here?

It isn't. Shenron himself explained that the original Super Saiyan God disappeared as quickly as he appeared and became nothing more than a legend.

By the way the name of the form is Super Saiyan God, not Saiyan God.

I prefer to call Blue Hair GPSSJ(God Power SSJ) because it's the original SSJ form using godly power.
