Thanks for a new podcast. Definitely sold me on playing the DLC on the new characters interactions alone. I hope you make more episodes of the podcast this year than the last. This was the first podcast series I ever listened to all the way back in 05 I don't plan on ever unsubscribing.

Heads-up: the mp3's direct download link on the main website links to episode #0489. I was very confused when I heard the opening line say August 2021

I don't care about 'Kakarot' at all but it's been so long you got me tuning in anyway :P (having said that, listening to you all discussing the game's positive aspects actually makes me more interested in checking it out).

I too double-took at the episode drop. I appreciate the Dragon Ball basement mining but we miss the long takes!

"Goku Experience RPG", eh? Who knew Kakarot was an honorary Tales game, what with that series "*Moral of the Story* RPG" subtitles. What's next, does it have a Zenkai Power Dragon Rush Battle System (ZPDRBS?) Appropriate that Kakarot is the sort of game that can scratch Mike's need for something fresh in the Radditz-to-Boo game in a more holistic way than a side story in a menu or a bad animated bonus feature, while Ken dove headfirst into the community board and side-quests. You have your gamey video game and your 3D stroll through Dragon Ball Z courtesy of CyberConnect2 there for you to pick and chose. Still haven't played it myself but tried the demo not too long ago, and for whatever misgivings I have about a fetch quest arena fighter choosing to explore the era of canyons and Planet Namek over the early cartoon Jianghu, it felt pretty good to play. Will probably give it a whirl now that the game is complete.
