“From the Past” is a regular column — historically posted on Fridays — in which we trot out some hilarity from our collective fandom past. Sometimes it’s funny marketing materials, sometimes it’s name spelling curiosities, and sometimes it might just be a neat little trinket we still have kicking around all these decades later. Originally started in 2008 to share then-seven-years-old audio files, the column was resurrected in 2026 and picked up right where it left off!
