Arc Synopsis
Freeza has survived, and along with his father King Cold, he comes to Earth. This was a hopeless situation, but a mysterious boy with a sword appeared and in a single instant defeated them both. He was the Super Saiyan warrior Trunks, son of Vegeta and Bulma, who had come from a tragic future. He spoke of the Artificial Humans, mighty enemies that would appear before Goku and co. in three years.
The Artificial Humans finally appear. Their “ki” is completely insensible, and on top of that they can suck energy. Goku and co. are bewildered by the arrival of these unprecedented powerful enemies. Goku is afflicted by illness, and finally loses to the Artificial Humans. However, a now Super Saiyan Vegeta destroyed No. 19 with extreme ease. A pale No. 20 awakens the remaining two Artificial Humans, No. 17 and No. 18. However, the two of them didn’t listen at all to the orders of No. 20 (Doctor Gero).
Filled with vigor, Vegeta challenges Artificial Humans No. 17, No. 18, and No. 16, who they awakened. However, the unfathomably powerful Artificial Humans defeated everyone in an instant. Seeing the overwhelming gap in their power, Vegeta goes off to train, seeking to become even more powerful. Also, Piccolo fuses with God to become the ultimate Namekian warrior. But down on Earth, a new terrifying monster has emerged…
