The masterpiece “DragonBall – Sleeping Princess of Devil’s Castle”, which was a big hit when it premiered during the summer vacation of 1987, has finally been turned into an anime comic!! In the second work in the movie-edition series, Kuririn and Lunch make their first appearance in the movies, and play an active role together with Son Goku.

 

It’s an uncut, full-color compilation of the great adventure that unfolds as Goku and company take on the demon king Lucifer of Devil’s Castle, said to be home of the legendary “Sleeping Princess”!!

The comic’s standard front and back cover (sans dust jacket) use navy-toned versions of the comic’s main dust jacket artwork and an image from the movie, respectively.

The book contains material introducing the characters in the story before covering the entirety of the film itself. Following this, the entire staff and cast of the movie is listed on the last page.

• Shueisha did not begin releasing film animation comics for the Dragon Ball franchise until 1992, well after many movies had already been produced. This film comic was eventually released in February 1995, just over 7.5 years after the movie’s theatrical premiere in July 1987.
