Introduction

“Dragon Ball Z – A Super Decisive Battle for Earth”, which was the talk of all when it premiered during the summer of 1990, finally becomes a long-awaited anime comic!!
The Saiyan Tullece, who looks just like Son Goku, invades Earth, bringing his fiendish henchmen with him! The Earth is in absolutely dire straights as he plants the Shinseiju, which is said to suck up all the nutrients from the ground!! How will Goku and the rest of the Z Warriors get through this pinch?!
Contents
The comic’s standard front and back cover (sans dust jacket) use pink-toned versions of the comic’s main dust jacket artwork and the movie’s official poster, respectively.
The book contains material introducing the characters in the story before covering the entirety of the film itself. Following this, the entire staff and cast of the movie are listed on the last page.
- Two Large Exclusive Posters!
- This anime comic includes a double-sided fold-out poster with one side being movie related, while the other is based on the TV series. Although the TV series related poster may seem out of place in comparison to the events and characters in the movie, it showcases the characters as they appeared in the series at the time when this comic was released, around the 25th Tenka’ichi Budōkai. No specific artist is listed for either poster.

Notes
- Shueisha did not begin releasing film animation comics for the Dragon Ball franchise until 1992, well after many movies had already been produced. This film comic was eventually released in May 1994, just under 4 years after the movie’s theatrical premiere in July 1990.
Franchise Timeline
At the time this film comic was released the Dragon Ball Z TV series was in the midst of the Majin Boo story arc, with Gohan squaring off against Dabra on Stage 3 of Bobbidi’s ship and then Vegeta allowing himself to be “possessed” by Bobbidi’s magic. The series’ theatrical films had also reached the reappearance of Broli.
