In support of the 2016 Nintendo 3DS video game Dragon Ball Fusions (originally debuted as “Project Fusion”), Shueisha began serialization of “Fusions the Manga!!” in the May 2016 issue of Saikyō Jump. The series — produced by Bandai Namco and illustrated by Hiroshi Otogi (音木ひろし) — follows the adventures of Tekka and Pinich leading up to the “Strongest in Time and Space” Tournament.
The “special manga project” that would become Dragon Ball Fusions the Manga!! was first announced in the March 2016 issue of V-Jump where original fusion creations were solicited from readers via mail-in contest entries.
Dragon Ball Fusions the Manga!! is — so far — not yet available outside of its initial Saikyō Jump printings.
