Chapter Synopsis

As she heads off to go purchase supplies, Tights notices Jaco’s spaceship. She is impressed with everything from the ship to the entire island. Tights is able to drive a boat plenty fine, so she bids goodbye to “Mask Man” while Jaco continues to reflect on such an awful name.

Jaco and Omori tinker with the spaceship and wonder what is taking Tights so long. While they wait, Jaco shows Omori the various functions of the spaceship, who is impressed by both their advanced technology and simplicity at the same time. Just as they start to get suspicious, Tights makes her return. It looks like Tights brought back quite a few things; in fact, she has decided to move to the island! Omori explains that, unfortunately, he does not own the island and even he has to move out in six days.

In addition to everything else, Tights has brought back a present for Jaco: it is sky gold! It cost a whopping ¥3 million for just that tiny piece, but it should at least be enough to use the communication device on the ship. Jaco can call headquarters and request an emergency rescue! Jaco hugs Tights and says he had faith in her the entire time, though Omori think this is not an entirely accurate statement. As they pop in the new energy device, the spaceship powers up! Jaco hops in and gives it a short test flight, safely landing it back down. Jaco attempts to send a message to headquarters, but as Tights discovers, it seems he damaged the antenna when he broke through the roof taking off.
