During the events of the battle with [[Majin Boo]] on [[Earth]], [[Doctor Arinsu]], an ambitious scientist from the [[Demon Realm]], manages to collect a piece of Boo. She takes it to the [[Great Witch Marba]], who Arinsu believes created Majin Boo in the first place, and wants her to concoct a new ''Majin''.<ref name="daima8">{{Cite episode|Series=Daima|Eps=8|}}</ref> The use of a [[Saibaiman]] seed as a base, with various monsters mixed in along with the essence of Majin Boo, results in the creation of [[Majin Koo]]. Arinsu wants to test him out by having him fight [[Tamagami Number One]],<ref name="daima9">{{Cite episode|Series=Daima|Eps=9|}}</ref> but Koo cannot win,<ref name="daima10">{{Cite episode|Series=Daima|Eps=10|}}</ref> so Arinsu has Marba make her another fighter. The Saibaiman seed is planted deeper this time, and Majin Doo emerges.

Doo greets everyone with an "N'cha!" {{efn|[[Arale Norimaki|Arale Norimaki's]] preferred greeting, んちゃ ''n'cha'' being a condensed こんにちは ''kon'nichiwa'' ("hello").}} and says he wants chocolate, so Majin Koo makes a quick run to the convenience store. Doctor Arinsu has Doo fight the Tamagami,<ref name="daima11">{{Cite episode|Series=Daima|Eps=11|}}</ref> and though he puts up a better fight than Koo did, he also stops in the middle of the battle to ask for chocolate. Koo runs off to go get some, while the Tamagami keeps attacking Doo. When Koo returns with chocolate, Doo's spirits raise and he keeps fighting until the Tamagami gives up. It has another challenge for him, though — mental arithmetic. Doo is no good at this, but Koo mumbles a number to him and he repeats it to the Tamagami. It is the correct answer, and the Tamagami hands over the [[Dragon Balls|Dragon Ball]] it was guarding.<ref name="daima12">{{Cite episode|Series=Daima|Eps=12|}}</ref>

The other two [[Tamagami]] have been beaten by [[Son Goku]] and company, who are now after the third Dragon Ball. Arinsu proposes a fight to determine who gets to have all three, so Majin Doo fights Son Goku for a bit. The [[Great Demon King]] [[Gomah]] shows up, however, who has gained the power of the [[Evil Third Eye]]. The Evil Third Eye pops out, and Gomah loses his power. Having been the one to defeat the Great Demon King, Majin Koo becomes the new Great Demon King. He chooses Doctor Arinsu as his [[Vice Demon King]], and makes Majin Doo a minister. During the events of the battle with [[Majin Boo]] on [[Earth]], [[Doctor Arinsu]], an ambitious scientist from the [[Demon Realm]], manages to collect a piece of Boo. She takes it to the [[Great Witch Marba]], who Arinsu believes created Majin Boo in the first place, and wants her to concoct a new ''Majin''. Marba has Arinsu contribute a bit of her saliva, so that she will be able to communicate with it without needing to speak.<ref name="daima8">{{Cite episode|Series=Daima|Eps=8|}}</ref> She also has her plant a [[Saibaiman]] seed five centimeters into the concoction and water it. The use of a Saibaiman as a base, with various monsters mixed in along with the essence of Majin Boo, results in the creation of Majin Koo.

Arinsu wants to test him out by having him fight [[Tamagami Number One]],<ref name="daima9">{{Cite episode|Series=Daima|Eps=9|}}</ref> but Koo cannot win. Arinsu says Koo is fired, but Koo says he can still be helpful. He claims to be a good singer and he can run fast, which is useful for shopping.<ref name="daima10">{{Cite episode|Series=Daima|Eps=10|}}</ref> Marba creates another fighter for Doctor Arinsu, and Koo helps plant the Saibaiman seed, deeper this time. Koo is excited to be getting a brother, and [[Majin Doo]] emerges. Arinsu has Doo fight the Tamagami next,<ref name="daima11">{{Cite episode|Series=Daima|Eps=11|}}</ref> while Koo cheers him on. Doo suddenly stops, saying he wants chocolate, and Koo runs off to go get some. When Doo is satisfied, he continues to fight the Tamagami until it gives up. Its next challenge is mental arithmetic, however, which Doo is no good at and stumps even Arinsu. Koo mumbles a number to Doo, who repeats it to the Tamagami, and it is the correct answer.
