"'''Panic at the Barbershop (Part 1)'''" is the twenty-third chapter of the ''[[Dr. Slump]]'' manga series by [[Akira Toriyama]]. It was first published in Japan in the 1980 #27 issue of Shueisha's ''[[Weekly Shōnen Jump]]''.

This chapter was published as the twenty-second chapter in all collected volumes. The original twenty-second chapter, "[[Dr. Slump Chapter 22|The Tale of Donbe]]", was moved to [[Dr. Slump Tankōbon Volume 3]] in order to keep this and the following two-part stories together, and all subsequent collected volumes followed suit though it was not necessary to achieve the same effect.
