A boy leans against a tree, smoking a cigarette, and he asks bubblegum girl what is up with the tagalong. A [[Peasuke Soramame\|younger boy]] wearing cat ears explains that this is the new kid. Bubblegum girl tells Arale to let her go, asking why she is following her around. Arale explains that they are friends. Bubblegum girl asks, according to who? The older boy warns Arale not to hang around with them; they are bad. Arale thinks the little boy is cute, though. The little boy looks to the older boy for help, addressing him as [[~~Taro~~ Soramame\|~~Taro~~]], and ~~Taro~~ reminds the boy that he warned him not to wear stuff like that.
