Cell stops himself mid-air and prepares to use a ''Kamehameha'', but Trunks powers up, and lets off a huge blast with both hands, and shoots it up at Cell, completely destroying Cell. Then Trunks returns to normal, and says it’s finally all over, thanking Goku and the others. Trunks heads back home, and Bulma is glad to see him.

"Trunks, who has lived through a rough future... And for Bulma and everyone else, at last true peace has come to them. And that peace should stand, so long as Trunks is around..."
