This is likely a reference to the fact that all of the [[Kaiōshin]] previously shown in the series were only ever referred to simply as "Kaiōshin" with their cardinal directions; Gowasu and [[Zamasu]] are the first gods of the [[Kaiō]] and Kaiōshin rank to be explicitly given proper names in the series, though [[Shin]] uses his given name as an alias when he is first introduced.
	* [[Future Trunks\|Trunks]]' line about how Goku and [[Vegeta]] make it feel like they are the only ones who can protect the world is likely a callback to the way that [[Bulma]] describes Trunks and Gohan in "[[Dragon Ball Extra Chapter\|TRUNKS THE STORY]]" and the animated television [[Dragon Ball Z Special 2\|special adaptation]].
