The '''Giant''' of [[Planet Monmath]] is a fictional character in the Japanese animated series ''[[Dragon Ball GT]]''. The giant makes his debut in [[Dragon Ball GT Episode 6]] which debuted on [[Fuji TV]] on '''13 March 1996''' in Japan.

==Overview==
[[Trunks]], [[Pan]], and [[Goku]] visit [[Planet Monmath]] in search of the [[Ultimate Dragon Balls]]. The robot [[Giru]], who absorbed the [[Dragon Radar]], pinpoints the location of the first ball on Monmath, a planet of giant creatures.

After they manage to safely land the [[Capsule Corporation Spaceship (Dragon Ball GT)|spaceship]], [[Giru]] guides Trunks and Goku to the Dragon Ball while [[Pan]] flies off with some giant butterflies, costumed like a bee. Giru finds the Dragon Ball, but then a giant apple falls on top of it, and a giant bird steals the apple along with the Dragon Ball. When Goku and Trunks realize the Dragon Ball is gone, Giru points at the apple, and they can see that the Dragon Ball has become embedded in its side. Then the giant stomps through, and the bird delivers the apple to him. He puts it inside a sack; the giant bird lands on his shoulder and he walks away. Trunks realizes they need to get it back quickly, but then they hear Pan screaming. Goku tries to tell Trunks that Pan will be okay, but Trunks says they can find the Dragon Ball again later with the radar; for now, they need to help Pan.

It turns out that Pan has been kidnapped by a swarm of bees who have mistaken her for their missing queen bee. She eventually manages to escape, and the worker bees pursue her. Meanwhile, Trunks has rescued the actual queen bee which was trapped in a spider web, thinking it was Pan. Just after Pan flies past the giant, who has captured a fish for his lunch, she runs into Goku. The worker bees catch up, and Pan takes off her costume; the worker bees retrieve their queen and Trunks suggests they get back to searching for the Dragon Ball. Goku notices that the Dragon Ball has disappeared on Giru's radar; it turns out that his energy is insufficient to make the radar function.

They fly towards the location where Pan spotted the giant; Trunks does not think that there is anything on this planet that could replenish Giru's energy. Goku smells fish cooking, though; his stomach growls, and says his energy is insufficient too. Trunks realizes that the smell must mean that the giant is nearby. Goku agrees; he has never heard of alligators cooking their own fish. Pan remembers that the giant was holding a fish when she saw him. Goku sniffs out the location, and they see a column of smoke rising above the forest.

They find the fire and the fish, and Goku's hunger is aroused, but then the giant arrives, so they hide behind a tree. The giant is surrounded by creatures who seem to be his friends; the giant bird eats from his hand, and then he grabs an apple from a pile for a giant ram. Trunks tells everyone that the Dragon Ball must be stuck inside one of those apples; they make their way to the pile to retrieve it, and Pan observes that this gentle giant is not the scary beast she expected, but Trunks admonishes her to be quiet. As the giant picks up his fish, though, Goku complains loudly that he wants some. Trunks admonishes him too, but Goku whines that he is hungry. Finally, they reach the pile of apples and they can see the Dragon Ball stuck in the top one. Goku says to leave it to him; he hops up on top of the apple, but then one of the giant rams knocks the apple over with his nose. Goku falls, and the giant picks up the apple, eating the entire thing in one bite and spitting out the core.

Goku flies down, and says they will just have to wait for it to come out the other end. Pan is grossed out; if they have to search through ''that'', she does not care what happens to the [[Earth]]. Goku imagines how upset [[Chi-Chi]] would be if he stayed small, and Trunks suggests that they leave this planet for now and come back later. Then the giant screams, clutching the side of his face and knocking over his fire. Goku flies up in his face to ask him what is wrong, and then he sees that the Dragon Ball is stuck in a cavity in one of the giant's teeth. The giant knocks him to the ground, so Goku tells the others the situation and then flies into the giant's mouth, prying it open. He tells Trunks to take the Dragon Ball, but Trunks does not think much of his chances. Goku uses a ''[[Kamehameha]]'' to extract the tooth with the Dragon Ball, and then the giant realizes the pain is gone. Goku pries out the [[Four-Star Ball]], and they celebrate their victory. Trunks encourages everyone to get going to find the other Dragon Balls.
