'''Mighty Mask''' is a fictional character in the ''[[Dragon Ball]]'' manga series by [[Akira Toriyama]]. Mighty Mask makes his debut in [[Dragon Ball Chapter 437|chapter 437]], published in the 1993 #40 issue of Shueisha's ''[[Weekly Shōnen Jump]]''.

==Biography==
Mighty Mask is a martial artist who wears a hood to hide his face. After losing in the first round of the [[24th Tenka'ichi Budōkai|24th ''Tenka'ichi Budōkai'']],<ref name="ch452">{{Cite manga|Chp=452}}</ref> he returns for the [[25th Tenka'ichi Budōkai|25th edition]] and makes it through the preliminary round by scoring a high enough number on a [[Punch Machine|punch machine]].<ref name="ch431">{{Cite manga|Chp=431}}</ref> As he stands around waiting for the tournament to begin, [[Trunks]] walks up to him and says a pretty girl is waiting for him around the corner. Mighty Mask eagerly follows, but it is a trick. Trunks knocks him out, so that he and [[Son Goten]] can take his outfit and enter the Adult Division in disguise. They were disappointed to be relegated to the Youth Division, so they take this opportunity to fight with the adults.<ref name="ch437">{{Cite manga|Chp=437}}</ref>

Not sure what their name is supposed to be, Trunks and Goten run up to draw a number when the [[Tenka'ichi Budōkai Ringside Announcer|announcer]] calls for [[Spopovitch]] during the lottery to determine the matchups. They learn that the guy they knocked out goes by the moniker "Mighty Mask", and draw number 13, pitting them against [[Killa]].<ref name="ch438">{{Cite manga|Chp=438}}</ref> While this match does not come to pass in a one-against-one setting, they do both compete in the battle royal that [[Mister Satan]] organizes after the tournament gets interrupted and most of the contestants leave. Killa suggests teaming up against reigning champion Mister Satan, but Trunks says [[No. 18]] is the contestant to worry about, and knocks Killa out of the ring with one punch.<ref name="ch452">{{Cite manga|Chp=452}}</ref> Trunks and Goten put up a good fight against [[No. 18]], but she ends up seeing through their disguise and slices the outfit in two with an energy disc.
