Trunks realizes this planet might be a dictatorship. Just then, Pan emerges from the shower and tells Trunks that she tried turning it off, but it will not stop. He tries to get up from the bed to help her, but he is chained to the bed. Goku is happily overwhelmed with food that keeps coming out of the refrigerator. Then Pan notices that there is a fare meter next to the shower. Trunks looks at the bed, and sees that there is one there too. There is one on the refrigerator, another on the TV, the lamp, the fan, and everything else in the room. Trunks yells at everyone to get out now.

	==~~Name==~~		The trio stands outside in the rain, lamenting their bad luck to end up on this planet. Then Pan falls backwards through a cloth wall into a family's very humble home. They greet each other, and the family makes them tea, patching the rip in the wall. Pan wants to know why everyone on this planet is so obsessed with making money; Trunks chastises her for her rudeness, but the Imeggan man says it is okay; it is the truth, after all. His wife agrees. He explains that it is all because of Don Kia, but just then, sirens approach; the robot police have come to confiscate their house because they could not afford their rent. They explain that it was not like this before Don Kia because the sovereign. The residents of Imegga have to borrow everything from Don Kia, and the only thing they can own is their children. The rental fees are high and normal people like them cannot afford it. Also, travelers like them make easy targets for the residents of Imegga who are desperate to make money. Goku volunteers to beat up Don Kia and get their house back. The Imeggans do not believe a child like him can do it, and if they try, Don Kia will come after them with an army. They were prepared for their house to be taken away since they could not pay their rent.

			As they walk back through the desert to the place where they left their spaceship, Goku asks Trunks if he plans on leaving as soon as they repair the spaceship, and Trunks says yes. Pan wonders if that family will be able to afford a new house, but Trunks says that each planet has its own rules and they cannot stay there; they have to find the [[Ultimate Dragon Balls]] in less than one year. Pan wonders if there could be a Dragon Ball on this planet, but Trunks thinks that is unlikely. Goku suggests he check with the [[Dragon Radar]], but as Trunks takes it out, a voice distracts him, and he drops the radar on the ground. It lands next to a [[Giru\|small robot]], which promptly eats the radar, converting it to energy. Then, Pan notices that their spaceship is being towed away. Goku captures the robot, and they watch helplessly as their spaceship is hauled off.<ref>{{Cite episode\|Series=GT\|Eps=3}}</ref>

			Pan suggests they should follow the spaceship, and Goku says to leave it to him and his [[teleportation]]. Pan ties up the robot and puts it in a satchel, telling Trunks to carry it. It turns out that Goku cannot teleport, though, so after a couple of failed attempts, they chase after the ship the normal way. In Kia Palace, [[Gel]] and [[Shila]] tell Don Kia that they have recovered the spaceship discovered by the security team in a desert to the east. The ship appears on a screen, and Shila tells Don Kia that they have never seen a ship of this type before, so it must come from an unknown planet. Don Kia only wants to know whether it has any value, and when Shila tells him it does not, he wants to know whether there are any cute girls in the crew who could be marketed to talent producers, but Gel informs him there was no one aboard. Don Kia tells them to disassemble the ship so it can be sold as scrap.

			Meanwhile, the [[Earth]] trio follows the tracks of the tow trailer and infiltrate the palace, where Goku spots the spaceship. They try to sneak up to steal it undetected, but when a rock falls on Trunks, he falls over and the commotion alerts the soldiers guarding the ship. The trio attacks, and Pan commandeers the tow trailer while Goku looses the ship from its crane, causing it to fall on the two trailer. Gel and Shila arrive to ask what is going on as Pan drives the two trailer toward the exit, picking up Goku and Trunks along the way. As they approach the exit, Gel and Shila attack with a combination ''[[ki]]'' attack, which Goku counters with a ''[[Kamehameha]]''. He overwhelms their attack but then [[Redict\| a hooded man]] interferes, knocking aside Goku's attack and wondering if the intruders are [[Saiyans]]. However, he does not stop them from escaping or follow. Pan is excited that they can finally leave, but Trunks reminds her that they still have to repair the spaceship.

			Don Kia reprimands Gel and Shila for the stolen spaceship and damaged dock; for as much as he pays them, they are worthless. Behind him, [[Redict]] objects to this, and Don Kia turns around to assure Redict that he was only talking about Gel and Shila. They apologize, but Don Kia calculates the damage to the dock and tells them it will come out of their pay. He asks about the interlopers, and Shila tells him they were caught on the surveillance cameras, so he takes a look at the screen, surmising they plan to repair the ship and escape. He resolves not to let that happen. Meanwhile, Trunks inspects the spaceship to see what parts they need while Goku mistakes a local insect for food and Pan tells Trunks to hurry up. Pan tries to get Goku to stay and watch the spaceship, but he is hungry, and Trunks thinks that this far out, they do not have to worry about the ship, so they all go into town. They try to buy parts in the marketplace, but everyone closes up their shops as soon as they see the trio. Then Trunks notices that there are wanted posters with their likenesses on them. Sirens approach, and they decide to run away to avoid the police. It starts raining, and they are hungry. Inside the satchel, the robot warns them that police are approaching, so they run to hide. 			The Earth trio continues to hide from the police. They cannot do anything without parts for their spaceship, so they cannot just leave. Then a woman emerges from a house. Goku tries to reassure the woman that they are not really bad guys despite being wanted, but she screams and runs away, alerting the police to their location. As they run away, they fall through the roof of another house. The couple inside recognizes them as the violent wanted criminals, attempting to threaten them with a mop; indeed, a broadcast at that moment shows the wanted criminals, instructing Imeggans to contact the police if they are seen. Pan tries to explain, but Trunks stops her, assuring the couple that they will leave now. Goku and Pan apologize for damaging the roof. As they leave, Goku's stomach growls, and the couple has compassion. The woman actually admires their courage for breaking into Kia Palace, and the man thinks they are nice. The woman tells them to eat before leaving, and she uses the mop to silence the man's protests. As they eat, the woman explains that it is prohibited on Imegga to have a spaceship, otherwise everyone would leave; they are all originally from other planets. The woman believes that love (karma) will get Don Kia and his gang one day. Pan thinks they should gang up and get rid of them, but Don Kia's bodyguard Redict is too strong for them to face. Goku realizes this is the one who deflected his ''Kamehameha''. The woman apologizes for not having any more food; when Pan realizes this was the last of their stores, she grows angry and decides they should turn themselves in to get inside the palace. Goku and Trunks follow her, and Pan assures the worried woman they are really strong.

			The Earth trio presents themselves to Gel and Shila for arrest. The police take them to the palace; Don Kia is counting his money when he receives word that they were captured, but then the trio enters his chamber, telling him the guards are "asleep"; they have all been knocked unconscious below. Pan attacks, but Don Kia captures her in a force field that electrocutes the others when they try to approach. He then triggers machine guns to fire on her. When the dust clears, Redict is standing there, and he tells Don Kia that these are not the kind of opponents that can be defeated with such weapons. Don Kia asks him to take care of them, but Redict reminds him not to order him around. He fights for himself. Goku and Trunks size him up, and then Trunks attacks, but Redict defeats him immediately. Goku tells Trunks to take care of Pan and leave Redict to him. Goku introduces himself; Redict can sense his strength, and warns him he will not hold back even against a child. They fight, and Goku is able to overcome Redict's skills and weapons, but Redict eventually gets the upper hand, forcing Goku to transform into a [[Super Saiyan]]. In the final beam struggle, Redict is overcome by Goku's ''Kamehameha''.

			Don Kia is distressed, but Goku tells Redict that if he trains, he can get even stronger; he is going to train too and hopes to fight Redict again. Redict thinks he is a funny kid, but Goku explains he is not really a child. Redict does not understand, but he himself is not fully developed. He tries to stand, but his injuries are great; Don Kia tries to give Redict a big pile of money to defeat these guys, but Redict knocks him and his money aside, telling Goku he is going to win next time as he departs. Goku laughs and says he will not lose. The trio approaches Don Kia, who apologizes, telling them he will do anything they ask if they spare his life, so Pan tells him to abolish the planet's rental system. The trio delivers a giant safe full of the inhabitants' contracts, which they are free to rip up, and also their spaceships will be returned.
