Videl fights back desperately, kicking him so hard that his neck seemingly breaks. To everyone's surprise, however, Spopovitch is not dead and pulls his head back around.<ref name="ch441">{{Cite manga|Chp=441}}</ref> Spopovitch keeps toying with Videl, who refuses to surrender, so Yamu steps in to tell Spopovitch he should get the match over with, reminding him of their purpose.<ref name="ch442">{{Cite manga|Chp=442}}</ref>

Yamu and Spopovitch check their energy-measuring device during the fourth match between [[Kibito]] and [[Son Gohan]],<ref name="ch443">{{Cite manga|Chp=443}}</ref> but it does not detect anything significant until Gohan powers up and reveals a tremendous amount of power. Yamu and Spopovitch spring into action; Spopovitch holds Gohan in place while Yamu drains his energy with an [[Energy Suction Device|energy suction device]].<ref name="ch444">{{Cite manga|Chp=444}}</ref> They fly off, abandoning the tournament and taking the energy back to Bobbidi.
