For me the problem is that the joke just seems smug. It really seems just that "oh look how stupid this is" while at the same time the guy makes a comic with Super Saiyan 3 Vegetto and Goku`s Mary Sue mom. I mean I don`t hate Salagir and I think you can make fun of DB but this just felt off.

The two specials and Battle of Gods are all-around good films even compared to other anime movies in my opinion. Battle of Gods, for instance, has everything a good film needs to succeed.

I actually have to agree with you just because these are the only DB films that feel like movies I even think ...

This question came into my mind thanks to my interest in film and TeamFourStars DBcember. If we start comparing Dragon Ball movies to other anime films (Jin-Roh, Perfect Blue, Spirited Away, End of Evangelion) can we seriously call them great or even good movies?

As a huge fighting game fan I`m kinda anticipating this because I always though that the only dbz games that had any "depth" were the budokai games and super dbz.
