Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
You have some audacity to rant all that given all you did was bring about paranoia and distrust. It's very shameful to disclose details for the sake of fame, while turning this into a sideshow. Outcomes can change at any time, the knowledge you think can easily be worthless, you are throwing specula...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Affordable isn't the point, you are saying budokai multiverse are using pages, not intended for profit, to be used as financial incentives.
That is a very big deal.

Sorry, I don't know if I'm misreading this, but are you trying to say that Budokai Multiverse are offering advanced pages to long term subscribers?

Don't think I posted this, but was something I did a while back when playing MK.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I don't know, I think it's likely the fight will be settled on earth, and that anything afterwards may be a page or two (possibly three) Looking at this, if it's like last chapter there be another 16 pages to go, but may instead be 13 or even 12 if we're to consider anything to happen after the figh...

Yep, a fanmanga of a fanmanga, of which the main one already has questionable (HA!) writing at times, taken in by yet someone else.
Anyway new page.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Hi to you as well. It's a point that being volunteers, they can only work at a pace in their own time (obviously with hindsight picking out candidates for other stories and be done first would had been ideal) and this includes level of drawing. Treating the DBM as a open source template is no bad th...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Having a second artist to work on a chapter in advance is doable, it's just a matter of finding the person that has the time and trusted for the job, as well if the secondary artist can match the style of the primary. If Salagir has the time to co-ordinate this then I believe he would have, I can't ...

Re: DB Fan Comic Compilation
Clicked on the link and it works fine, Skar has since added it onto the opening post of this thread, so try that instead. Might be DA was down at the time which sometimes happens. (Apologies if reply to this was late but wanted to check it wasn't a dead link)

Thanks, also goes without saying that it's good you maintained a centralized directory of known DB comic on the opening page, and looking at a few now (not to copy obviously!).

Re: DB Fan Comic Compilation
So I started on a comic I was given work on, based on the fan manga dragon ball multiverse (fan comic based on a fan comic - Yes i know that reads a little convoluted!) Might be pushing to two pages a month, while I'm not in the habit of spelling out the summary, it is set on the idea of a 'what if'...

Re: Does anyone want a Trunks series?
I say yes, I've been suspecting that this arc was to also test the waters to see if Trunks can add to the franchise (a side story, xenoverse games etc) I would welcome a side series because he is quite likeable, but this side series will need to develop better supporting characters. In relation to &...

Re: Was Gohan's absence a big miss in the current arc?
His absence throughout all of Super has been a big miss. They changed a lot with RF so they could've had him fight Freeza in his 1st form and force him to go into his final one before Goku and Vegeta arrived. He could've went to the tournament instead of Monaka and maybe beat Frost instead of Veget...

Re: ROF Arc Manga Version!
Possibly, I'll keep note...I would be interested in working on pages 6-9, I might leave the speech bubbles out so whoever wants to fill in the necessary dialogue can do so. Unless there's a script and particular font in mind. I'll see how next month fares out.

Re: Any tips for a Fan manga? DB
Wow. I thought 20 pages like per month was pretty doable especially since DB's artstyle is simplistic. Maybe I'll aim for 15-17 pages within a month. Maybe I'll try to dedicate like 10-12 hours per week. Ok. And by background effects I meant like: https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-x...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The ruined teddy bear is a cringe worthy cliché, it's a overused gimmick just as I dislike raditz saying 'bro' when it's not his character to say slang. You have to admit though, the teddy bear cliche is still darn effective. There's not many better metaphors for slaughtered children than that. It ...

Re: Should Super have skipped RoF?
Possibly but films make money on the repeated viewings and ROF had a story that flawed, was for many worth seeing again, so you can say in your opinion the movie was bad but it grossed a very healthy sum so it has done something right. The arc could had strengthened the story from the movie but ther...

Re: Any tips for a Fan manga? DB
I want to do like. Do like 20-25 pages per 2-4 weeks. How long would that take if I work on it if I did some reasonable work a week? Like 5-7 hours a week? How long does 25 pages usually take for weekly or bi-weekly? I don't think I can do background effects. Would people care if I can't do those? ...

Re: Should Super have skipped RoF?
The movie itself should have never been made in the first place. One of the lowest points in the whole franchise. I can't even think of something good about it, not even the SSB. You need to realize that ROF made a lot money, and in part deserved it so an adaption was inevitable, and it had good pa...
