Well, Dimps still works with BandaiNamco, I can say that. They develop the tamagotchi nintendo 3DS games, I know that, and they've been doing it for years. I would love to see them return for dragon ball though~

I grew up with both together :p and well, I liked them equally. Still, it's quite odd to watch different parts of what is basically the same show at once. Makes me wish I was Japanese, and I got to see the whoooole series from beginning to end like they did XP

A lot of anime does this, I can say for sure. Two anime I watch, Pokemon and Tamagotchi have this model, and neither are from Toei, so I imagine it's quite common.
