Re: As Freeza remains in the shadows, my theory on Super's "unexpected" ending

It's obvious that Freeza is going to be utilized in some way at the very end of the tournament. The thing that makes the most sense is for him to wait until Goku and Jiren both run out of steam and then knock them both out to be the last fighter standing. Whether this earns him the wish or not is u...

Re: Universe Survival in Future Timeline

I haven't read the manga, but that's good to know. If that's the case then it's still pretty much Goku's fault, since he's the one that bought Mirai Zeno back to the present.

Universe Survival in Future Timeline

We are told in the story that Zeno was planning on erasing all 8 of the weaker universes all along. I think it's safe to assume that Future Zeno was planning to do the same thing to the future universes. In this timeline, there was no Goku to meet Zeno and convince him to hold the tournament of powe...

Re: How much older would Goku have to be to lose to Freeza?

There are way too many variables involved in your question to give a straight answer. Goku is a saiyan and will age differently than a human does. They retain their youth much longer and have longer lives in general. We don't really know how ki affects aging, but it is possible that having a large a...

Re: How strong are the Android arc humans?

I could give tons of examples, but I think one or two are enough. Vegeta was wrong when he said he was the strongest Saiyan. Boo was wrong about a fusion of Goku and Vegeta being weaker than him. Apparently, the absence of basis or the lack of a Kuririn vs. Tenshinhan makes me doubt Yamcha's statem...

Re: Guldo's Time Freeze & The Galactic Patrol

Of course it's over thinking it, but it's the best way for me to rationalize it because there are too many other problems that come into play if you just say "Ghurd can stop time" (as noted in the same post you snipped that quote out of and was then subsequently discussed by following pos...

Re: How strong are the Android arc humans?

I have them at between 200,000 and 500,000. (And that is still a very high estimate in my opinion) I think having their powers too high cheapens the idea of power levels and makes them even more ridiculous than they already are. It's supposed to be rare for someone to have a power level of over a fe...

Re: Guldo's Time Freeze & The Galactic Patrol

Still moving, planet's rotate. =P While time flows, yes. With my previous suggestion, time never actually stops. The relativity thing can still come into play because even though Ghurd himself isn't really in motion when he "freezes" things and changes everyone's perception, the universe ...

Re: Does God Ki bug anyone else?

My take on God Ki is that it increases or brings out the spiritual component of one's ki. I would compare genki, youki, spiritual ki, etc. to stats for an RPG character. Getting God Ki would be like getting a sudden increase in Stamina or Vitality, while other characters are only relying on Attack a...

Re: Cell Solar Systen Statement

I didn't create the distinction. The term is literally and commonly used for this purpose, for this distinction, in power debates. This isn't my personal preference, I was telling you how its commonly used and interpreted in power debates. Other interpretations defeat the purpose of its use and tha...

Re: Cell Solar Systen Statement

I think you're being to broad with the definitions here. If Goku could wipe out the solar system with a single Kamehameha then he is for all intensive purposes a solar system buster. If he has to teleport to each planet to blow them up one by one and then blow up the sun then he is merely a star bu...

Re: Cell Solar Systen Statement

Well, planet buster means what it literally says: a person who can bust a planet. However, accepting someone who can only destroy a planet little by little as a planet buster, defeats the purpose of the classification because then the term wouldn't differentiate between someone who might take thous...

Re: Cell Solar Systen Statement

No, there isn't. Planet busting merely refers to the capability of destroying a planet. A fighter that doesn't have the means to reach a certain planet but has the power to destroy it if he reaches it, is still a planet buster, regardless of whether he actually destroys it or not or if he has the m...

That's just planet busting. Any planet buster that can take out the largest planet in the solar system could do that.
That's assuming they have the means to reach all those planets. There is a subtle distinction there.

Beerus is supposed to be asleep for 3 years. If Whis has nothing to do I could see him willing to train Goku and Vegeta.

Re: Is there a new DB series to boost Japan's economy?

When I first heard about Dragon Ball Kai, my initial impression was that it was a remake. I agree with rereboy that it was their intention to draw people in that way. But every company does that to some extent. It's really not a big deal to me because we all know they are trying to make a profit. I ...

I'm hoping that Vegeta became a God off screen, it's really unnecessary to watch that whole process again. Either that, or he just gets stronger without it.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread

Disappointed that is Gohan and not Yamcha in the poster.. but it makes a lot more sense. Hope Gohan fanboys don't get all pissy when Vegeta is stronger and Gohan is at best 3rd. I was actually quite happy for it to be Gohan instead of Yamcha. It's like they're setting it up to be just like the Gold...
