Re: DB's ending

I think it will be like that classic shonen ending. Goku becomes the strongest but it is only the start of a new adventure like GT where Goku goes off somewhere, leaving everyone behind.

Re: What made Majin Vegeta truly change?

I think it was all a facade, lying to himself in his heart. He knew there would be no real consequences to his actions because of the Dragon balls and Goku simply caught him out on his bluff.

Re: How old is Freeza?

I'd say in the Namek arc, at the very least, in his 60's. He could range from 60 - 200.

Re: Did Raditz have potential? Saiyans in general?

Raditz has good potential in terms of genetics since he is a part of a warrior race. However, a big theme in Dragon ball is overcoming your limits and that goes for everyone, Non-Saiyajin or Saiyajin. Goku already had good genetics but he was able to further that potential with training methods and ...

Re: Unpopular Opinion: The power scaling in Super is fine and makes some sense

I think the source is Goku and Vegeta have become too strong that we don't know when they are very serious.

He probably left it to Goku (if he knew he was alive by sensing his ki) and the others.

If he reverts, I think his hair would go back to normal.

Your drawings look a lot like Toriyama's.

Re: Does Dragon Ball work best when it’s lighthearted or dark?

I'm a big fan of Gintama so both. However, the series doesn't go over the edges of darkness, I remember Goten losing his mother and friends during the Boo arc but it didn't really amount to the darkness in making the show look dark but I did like Gotenks goofiness. Toriyama is a gag artist so Dragon...

I did a quick google search of the Wuxia genre.

You might be right on that I still do believe it could have been handled better while fitting that genre.

Re: What's your tolerance for character incompetence?

As best I can tell, the reason you don't like it is because it makes them look immoral. Probably I just find it forced here in this instance. I get Goku is not Superman but I find (in relating to this thread topic) stretching the line a bit. I kind of would like to think there would be a bit more d...

Re: What's your tolerance for character incompetence?

How is it different. I fail to see how letting Vegeta go so he can fight him again is any different than letting the Cyborgs be created. Where as, the placement of Vegeta and Piccolo I find is more fitting because it doesn't try to tightly squeeze in to push for it to be. I have no idea what this m...

Re: What's your tolerance for character incompetence?

Then you miss the point of who the characters are. Goku isn't out to stop the cyborgs from destroying the world. He wants to fight them. These traits always existed. We see more than enough examples in the series, like the ones I mentioned. The cyborgs are just as much a driving force for Goku to g...

Re: What's your tolerance for character incompetence?

This is the arc where characters are forced to act in a certain way in order for the story to progress. Goku's decision to let the androids be built because he simply wants to fight him I think is a poor excuse, I would like to think Goku has more self restraint than this but I just really think To...

Re: [THEORY] Vegeta was calm about UI Goku because he has already reached his limit.

Vegeta went into the RoSaT and may have surpassed Kakarot. Who knows a this point, he's been conserving his energy and hasn't shown anything past Blue. I don't think he's reached his limit. It's been proven time and time again Saiyan's have no limits, they may hit walls but they've broke through ti...

Re: If Dr Gero had access to Beerus' cells, how strong would Cell have turned out?

Beerus's power could go beyond cells and be more so his status as a destroyer(?) since Beerus is not a mortal.

Maybe Cell wouldn't turn out strong because he might turn out lazy like Beerus if he had Beerus's cells
