Shingo Yamashita would do a wonderful job on DB with Shintani's designs! His background animation would compliment the nature of DB fights pretty well.

I'm optimistic about the character art and animation but I'm a little skeptical about the background art for Super(movie). I found Super's(TV) background art to be quite lackluster for the most part, except Bun Sun Lee and a few other's works. As for memorable settings, those are few and far between...

No Shida, Onishii, Otsuka or Takahashi scene in the #130 preview has me a little worried. The excessively reused animation in this episode isn't a good indicator either.

Why is it that the beam fx in the older series looks brighter and flashier, like real light as compared to the new one? Should've been brighter in digital but somehow it's less shiny now. Also, brilliant shading in this scene! I noticed they've started using the dark gradient more often to make the shapes pop more, cool.

Fantastic transformation in the climax as pointed out by many! I know Karasawa supervised the last half but do you guys know who animated the transformation? Pretty cool background animation, fx and rotations!

Warped Manabe drawings are fun to look at <3, similar to Karasawa's Kabba vs Vegeta stuff.

Shida is only storyboarding for now though, hope he animates too. This arc could've been great but the pacing so far has ruined it, so if they could give us some strong animation for the climax from the likes of Shida, Miuma, Otsuka,etc I'd be more than satisfied.

Earlier someone said that CG would be great. The stadium is already CG as we see in every episode's end. So, yeah that's the CG background for you, should be fun, hope they keep it CG the whole time. Anyone knows what Takahashi is busy on right now? He would be a great addition.

Other than Shida,Tate and Higashide, are there any other good action animators that are guaranteed to work in the final fight?
