Re: If Android 18's beat-down of Vegeta happened today.
There would be tons of bitching. Remember how fans felt Vegeta was cheated out of defeating Freeza in Resurrection F? Magnify that by 100. And that's not even taking into consideration how the concept of the Androids is bullshit, as well as Vegeta attaining Super Saiyan to begin with, and how that ...

If Android 18's beat-down of Vegeta happened today.
Would fan's nerd rage nearly as hard as they do with anything that involves Kale, Cauliflua, or Kelfa?

Re: Right off the bat, the Manga is treating Tien better (and Goten and Trunks...kinda)
Being brought up initially to be on the team won't mean much if Tien doesn't contribute anything of significance in the Tournament Of Power itself. I know. I was saying that by comparison to not even being mentioned, let alone considered until the literal last minute (Goku comes to his dojo recruit...

Re: Right off the bat, the Manga is treating Tien better (and Goten and Trunks...kinda)
Yamcha isn't brought up sadly, but at least they're not doing that unfunny gag with him waiting for the invite! But I can't wait to see how Tien preforms. Hopefully he actially gets a fight instead of Naruto running straight into elimination. To be fair, tag teaming with Roshi for an elimination an...

Re: Right off the bat, the Manga is treating Tien better (and Goten and Trunks...kinda)
Hopefully when we get to EOZ and Trunks and Goten are adults, they get treated properly. I really would prefer to see more of them once they've actually aged up some. I think a big reason those two aren't used much anymore is because toriyama has done just about as much (to keep things interesting)...

Right off the bat, the Manga is treating Tien better (and Goten and Trunks...kinda)
https://youtu.be/Bqyie_i-VIw?t=865 He is actually brought up (By Goku, no less) when deciding the fighters who are going to take part in the tournament, instead of forgotten about and asked at the last minute for convenience. Goten and Trunks are at least not immediately counted out, albeit still ex...

Re: Tien, The Support Character
Worst character in the tournament by far. In terms of power and overall just as a character is terrible. (cough) Universe 3's Nigrishi...(cough, cough) With 2 eliminations under his belt, Tien has easily had a better showing then roughly half of the other contestants who've came and went in this en...

Re: The respect of Beerus.
Beerus respecting Tien only shows how great a character Beerus can be. As powerful as he is, he can still show a humble side and acknowledge the weak and the pathetic. Tien did nothing to deserve anyone's respect. in universe, he tracked down a sniper who was repeatedly referenced as powerful (and ...

Re: Do you feel that my boy Piccolo is being screwed?
Guys...I'm scared Piccolo is getting the Tien treatment. Granted he's already a bit better due to KOing one person...but I'm scared. Piccolo could be eliminated any time. My boy Piccolo... Tien Knocked two people out of the arena...One working with Roshi and the other having beaten himself and then...

Re: I can't be the only one who's lost some interest w/o Krillin and Tien, can I?
Super made Krillin a badass cop, brought him back from martial arts retirement, forced him to an epiphany episode where he grew some balls and gave me an episode where he takes on Goku at Super Saiyan Fucking Blue. So ... yeah ... can't really say I lost interest. Quite the opposite, to be frank. T...

Re: I can't be the only one who's lost some interest w/o Krillin and Tien, can I?
Absolutely. Those two were the main dudes I was looking forward to in the tournament and now they're already gone, so my interest in the tournament has plummeted. I already have zero excitement about the Goku vs Jiren fight since I currently couldn't care less about either of those characters, and ...

I can't be the only one who's lost some interest w/o Krillin and Tien, can I?
Those are the guys I really wanted to shine the most this arc, given just how long it's been since they were a part of the action. They did...fine (better than half the other contestants in the tourney), but it hurts that they took the predictable route and got rid of them first. Krillin got great t...

Joking aside, I think I can at least unironically say Roshi, if not the strongest human, is easily the best human fighter. Centuries of experience put to fantastic use.

Re: In the end, Master Roshi outperformed both Krillin and Tenshinhan, by a lot...
Nothing about Roshi's performance in the tournament indicates that he is stronger than Krillin in any capacity. Especially since half of Roshi's eliminations relied on him using skill instead of raw power. And especially even more so when all of the opponents that Roshi eliminated are impossible to...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Eh. Whether Vegeta goes out or next is up in the air. Sure the ending still could be right, but I also think it's possible that Roshi is going next. Good to see Frost again too. As for Tenshinhan? Lol, just lol. He was humiliated again as i predicted. Oh no‥ that ED‥ Vegeta may just be screwed :lol...

Re: In the end, Master Roshi outperformed both Krillin and Tenshinhan, by a lot...
I think Krillin did better than master Roshi, because, actually he had a melee fight against the fox, on the other hand, Roshi is having a lot of screentime which is ridiculous. Roshi had a melee fight with Gano's in his muscle bird form and literally snapped that one girls energy spear with his fi...
