Supreme Kai Name Meaning
Does any body know where the name of the Supreme Kai of universe 2, Pell or Peru comes from? I am thinking that it comes from a mythological creature or something like that. I've looked everywhere, but I haven't been able to find it.

Re: Are the characters younger in DBS Broly?
The AGES that appear on-screen when Goku arrives on Earth are not to be taken seriously. They are just telling you that time has passed without actually giving you a specific date. However, the "41 years ago" is in fact incorrect and it should be "46 years ago" instead. Nothing ...

Are the characters younger in DBS Broly?
While watching the movie, the first thing I noticed was that it said 41 years ago. Then five years later was when planet Vegeta was destroyed. Then when Goku's pod went to Earth the age stopped at 775 and it said present time. Originally the tournament of power took place in age 780 (which is suppos...

Re: Vegeta's Final Flash against Jiren (how fast was it going?)
After thinking on it and plugging it into a calculator, 139 MPH converted to feet traveled per second comes out at about 203.86 feet per second which is plausible enough for this scene I suppose if Jiren was willing to wait however long it took. Though as others have pointed out, fights on the God ...

Re: Vegeta's Final Flash against Jiren (how fast was it going?)
I agree with Polyphase and calculating it is pointless also because a vast majority of the time, it creates nonsensical results but even if you want to do so, you're missing a big variable which is that the everything is happening in a small time-frame. Assuming irl 22 minutes is equal to a ToP min...

True, it's just for fun though.Polyphase Avatron wrote:It's pretty obvious that the animation isn't in real time (otherwise the ToP would be over in your 2-3 episodes) so calculations like this are kind of pointless.

Vegeta's Final Flash against Jiren (how fast was it going?)
So I after I watched episode 122 where Vegeta shoots that huge final flash it got me thinking if I could figure out how fast that beam was going. So I decided to put math and the anime together and this is the result I got. Of course this could be totally wrong since we are putting physics to an ani...

Re: Jiren's Height
Yeah, I think even Broly would be taller than him. Well Broli is one of the biggest characters in the franchise, isn't he? With the way he towered over Piccolo, that makes him taller than all forms of Boo, Dabura, Ox Demon King, second form Freeza and Cold, and Imperfect Cell. Those are the tallest...

Re: Jiren's Height
Jiren is basically Superman so I would not want him to be one of the inhumanly tall characters, like a Piccolo or a Boo or a Hit or a Whis. 6'4 seems very appropriate for him. Re: Jiren's Height
Sometimes he looks humongous and sometimes not. Today's episode a good example of that. In the beginning, when Goku powered up in front of him they looked to be even in height, but later on Jiren looked a good deal taller. I'd say I agree with your estimate and would say he's at minimum 6ft and pro...

Jiren's Height
If Goku is supposed to be around 5'9'', how tall could Jiren be? Sometimes he looks humongous and sometimes not. I say he could be around 6'4". Does that sound like a reasonable height or is that too short?

Re: Any Idea on how a God of Destruction is chosen?
Strength shouldn't be the only qualification in determining who is and isn't a candidate for the position. What's just as important is commitment to the job, loyalty towards the higher celestial authorities, and impartiality in executing their duty. Sad to say but characters like Beerus and Champa ...

Re: Any Idea on how a God of Destruction is chosen?
Seems like it sort of mirrors how each planet's Kami is chosen, based on Whis offering Beerus's spot to Goku and Toppo being mentioned as someone who could become a God of Destruction. Presumably a current God of Destruction could pass the title (and some of the power, assuming part of it is a &quo...

Any Idea on how a God of Destruction is chosen?
Does anybody have any Idea on how a God of Destruction is chosen? I'm guessing Zen-Oh sends angels to find them. They scout for strong beings and they offer the position to them. Any other guesses or actual facts?

Re: What made Majin Vegeta truly change?
Majin Vegeta and his sweet moment with Trunks was not only one of the best moments of the Buu saga, but the entire series as a whole in my opinion. I guess one thing I had mixed opinions on was why Vegeta, only after regressing back to his evil self, was suddenly able to realize what his true prior...

Has Jiren's meditation technique been revealed?
There is a lot of speculation that he is probably using meditation to heal but I don’t think that this is the case because he hasn’t really gotten beat up or anything. To me, what it seems like he is doing is using meditation for Image training. Cause back in episode 85 when Toppo and Dyspo where ta...
