Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Given Geekdom's new information regarding the creative shift allegedly going down behind the scenes, I actually wouldn't be surprised if I was right in my earlier post when I speculated that maybe they're waiting for the manga to do it's thing so they can adapt it later. It actually makes a good bit...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Some people need to chill out and refrain from the “DB is dead guys.” sentiment. Maybe it’s not big in this thread but I see it in other places a fair bit. Dragon Ball is far from dead. We have an ongoing manga that’s bringing us arguably one of the best arcs we’ve had in quite a while, a humbly siz...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Oh yes, i'm pretty sure DBS isn't returning soon, i'm just intrigued by that 9 AM slot. We know it's not DQ since it's coming in October and World Trigger is on a different channel. You have any info on that ? Absolutely nothing, I'm afraid. The thing is, Kitaro's one of those shows that can be ext...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
So if Super does return will an entirely new team be handling it? The part where it should be different is the director. The 2 directors of the saga of the tournament of power are busy. Ryota Nakamura will be the director of Dragon Quest and Tatsuya Nagamine is the director of One Piece in the curr...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Yeah, to be honest I’m just gonna hold out hope for Super 2 until we get confirmation of what’s going to fill that time-slot. Otherwise I think any other continuation of the TV series is a few years out at the very least. Toriyama did voice some concerns about the production of Super early on, no? J...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
My guess based on nothing: New non-DB IP in April replacing Kitaro. DB movie announced for 2020. Fandom explodes, Kanzenshuu forums implode, DBtubers die of starvation. Heroes continues :D https://thumbs.gfycat.com/CoolObedientFieldspaniel-size_restricted.gif I can't do it, not again. I'm not stron...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Kai: Yamamoto Revival (Parts 5-8) - COMPLETED!
Sorry to "necro-post", but does anyone know where I might be able to find Yamamoto Audio for parts 1-4? Just the audio? I own the entire series on BD(and can provide proof.) Any replies or PMs would greatly be appreciated. I've been trying to track the audio down for quite a while. I know ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" CONTINUATION - (Non) Announcement & Discussion Thread
Toei Animation reports that the results of Dragon Ball's profits are falling and One Piece is back to overtake him. I would say "it makes no sense to produce a new TV series because Dragon Ball continues to sell anyway" is... well, bullshit. Source: http://corp.toei-anim.co.jp/files/IR/32...

I really hope we see something soon. Super wasn't the best but I still have some pretty fond memories of watching it.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes stream teases announcement on Goku Day(May 9th), uses Shintani Goku art
As we already knew, Heroes episode 11 will be out on May 9 which is Goku Day. Also on that day, "something will happen...?!" and we should check the Heroes website to see what it is. (This is from a Heroes stream, though, so it could be cross-promotional. We don't know.) Whatever it is, 1...

Is there interest in a DEFINITIVE version for Dragon Ball Kai: The Final Chapters?
https://imgur.com/pX71UAw.png I want to start this out by saying that I've recently been hired to a job that has a lot of downtime. By a lot, I literally mean that 90% of it is me doing nothing. I'm prefacing with this because the vision and scope of the project I'm proposing are extremely ambitiou...

Re: Super possibly losing its timeslot or going on hiatus in March?
I like how we're already complaining the end of the ToP is gonna be bad. We still don't know how it's going to end, y'know. It could easily end on a cliffhanger or with loose ends that can be tied up later. We'll see. Maybe, it would explain the DB's broadcast is still under discussion bit. But at ...

Re: Super possibly losing its timeslot or going on hiatus in March?
I like how opinions in this thread have went from "Toei would never put Super on hiatus!" to "Toei might put it on hiatus and bring it back in 2019!" to "Toei is literally killing Super and it's never coming back." I know it's not the same people saying these things but...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" FUNimation Dub Official Discussion Thread
Marsters as Zamsu could work but we'll see. His voice sounds like it could definitely work with Zamasu if he just went a little bit higher(which seems like he can do if you listen to his normal voice.) I assume people are gonna be put off by the Xenoverse performance, though. As far as I know, none ...

Zamasu and Gowasu's VAs have been announced. David Gray will be voicing Zamasu. Garrett Schenck will be voicing Gowasu. Re: Super possibly losing its timeslot or going on hiatus in March?
Has anyone dug around into the code of the Kitaro website? Perhaps there's something that might spoil/hint at the announcement? We know that Toei isn't always the best when it comes to their website stuff.

Re: Things that grind your gears
Another thing that grinds my gears is when people take DBZA stuff as canon. Don't get me wrong, I like TFS but some people take it a little too seriously. I've seen people say that they consider DBZA more canon than AT's original work. I don't know why but that really rubs me the wrong way.
