Re: Dragon Ball Daima (2024)
I'm currently curious about when (and most importantly, in which continuity - movies, anime or manga) Daima takes place. The "movieverse" is the safest choice, I think, but who knows. If I remember correctly, in Ajay's livestream it was said something like "some events of Super will b...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
The latest rumor I've heard is something about a forgotten race appearing in the canon/main story.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I'm cautiously optimistic about the teaser, but at the same time I wonder:
Will there be any announcements before October 12th in Japan?
Will Akio Iyoku appear in the panel?

Re: DBS Anime Future
That's good advice, thank you. Here's mine: don't blindly believe in something just because it's official. However, in the grand scheme of things, this is irrelevant. I beg to differ. It's relevant because if there's a mistake, possibly there are others, so there's no guarantee that the timeline is ...

Re: DBS Anime Future
I believe that Broly would be a better option to be the protagonist if these rumors are true. He, Cheelai and Lemo having space adventures sounds really interesting. They can. And just out curiosity, can you point out the mistakes they did? You probably know this version of the timeline better than ...

Re: DBS Anime Future
Okay, let's go by parts: 1 - I showed another version of the timeline where Trunks traveled 20 years to the past instead of 17. I didn't remember about Trunks revealing his age, so when I checked and saw the second version I discarded the first one. From now on, I'll considerate the "17 years&q...

Re: DBS Anime Future
I agree. Once the Time Machine recharged, Trunks went (with the androids) to the amusement park , to buy clothes , to play computer games. Maybe it was in this period when he decided to dye his hair blue! One thing is for sure, Trunks definitely didn't need to go back to the present to help his fri...

Re: DBS Anime Future
You know, I went to check the theory again just to be sure. There's a version 2.0 with Trunks travelling 20 years to the past, and it's more in line with the official one. The first version is still not ruled out though, and considers the possibility that Trunks lied about his age. Now the timeline ...

Re: DBS Anime Future
That's easy to answer: just because it looks simple to you doesn't mean it's simple to everyone else. Any hint like that would suggest that the movie occurs in AGE 783, but we don't have that. So, for now, AGE 782 is the only correct answer. "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence."...

Re: DBS Anime Future
I think we are in the realm of speculation here. Pan is 3 years old in the movie and 4 years old when Z ends, so while it's still technically possible that about two years passed between these two events, as far as I know there's nothing that proves this possibility. So in my view both have a chance...

Re: Fan Works Explosion
Funny enough, a lot of the games tend to treat SS4 and the Red/Blue God forms to be pretty much on the same level. I think Heroes does this a lot, but they don't use Xeno Goku instead of GT Goku. Anyway, the drawing is nice. I think something like this: https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
According to leaks, the anime that will replace Digimon is something called "Tosochu: Great Mission", so the only hope for new DB animated content is the webanime.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
My humble opinion (english isn't my first language, so please forgive me for any possible grammatical errors): 1 - I think there's more factors than just strength in the Potara fusions. "Compatibility" and maybe "hidden potencial" are good ones, IMHO. If Kale's potencial is as gr...

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FhMCBw4VEAYI-OQ?format=jpg&name=medium At first I thought these are unused designs for SS4, but seems like I was wrong, these are unused designs for SS4 Limit Breaker. That's really cool, it would be really nice to see a more radical change in the transformation inst...

Re: Which would you recommend more for newer fans? GT, the Super anime, or the Super manga?
It's hard to say without knowing what your friend likes, but the "production order" mentioned above is a good route. However, you also can just give your friend the options and let him choose what he want to do. My only recommendation is: stay away from things like Dragon Ball Online or He...

Re: Toriyama and Toyotaro are bad at writing female characters/female Warriors
Chi Chi in DBZ compromise, while DBS Chi Chi doesn't compromise. That's not true, and it's one of the reasons I mentioned "bad faith" before. You need to ignore the context to make this conclusion. I think something closer to the truth is this: we are literally talking about the same char...

Re: Toriyama and Toyotaro are bad at writing female characters/female Warriors
You know, I think there's a lot of bad faith in the post above. You can say Chichi is more tolerant in Z but there's some context behind that you can't just ignore. I mean, Chichi never said in Super something like "I care more about my son's education than Earth's future", that's from Z.
